Meet Debra Miller: WA’s Leading Cosmetic Tattoo SpecialistHello. My name is Debra Miller and my passion is helping both women and men feel great about the way they look. I have been a micropigmentation specialist for more than 25 years and still fi nd it extremely satisfying.

Transforming and concealing fl aws on the skin, rectifying defects and enhancing my clients’ natural beauty are all part of the process I very much enjoy. As we mature, various factors may cause skin defects to occur. The most common of these are sun damage, pigment dysfunction and scarring.

Micropigmentation is an easy, hygienic and safe way to correct these issues. It’s also a wonderful way to draw attention to features that are naturally outstanding. Micropigmentation has a lasting natural fi nish that can be suited to your individual style and required outcome.

Our Treatment Process

Step 1: Book Your Initial Consultation

It all starts with an initial consult so you can find out about the treatment and discover if Debra is right for you. You can make your booking by contacting any of the clinics that Debra works from or visiting www.debramiller.com.au/make-booking

Step 2: Attend Your Initial Consultation

During your initial consult Debra will assess your requirements and answer all your questions. You will then be given the option to book in a treatment date.

PLEASE NOTE: If you would like treatment at your initial consultation this can be arranged, however you MUST have completed Step 3 prior to your appointment and email [email protected] that you would like the treatment at the initial appointment.

Step 3: Contact Compound Pharmacy To Arrange Numbing Gel

For safety and comfort reasons, Debra insists that all clients use her recommended numbing gels. New regulations dictate that patients must consult direct with the compound pharmacy to ensure prescribed anaesthesia is safe.

To arrange your numbing gel, simply phone or visit one of the recommended compound pharmacies and mention that you require numbing gels for your appointment with Debra Miller. They have Debra’s formulas on record. By Law they will ask you a few health-related questions to ensure the gels are safe for you.

You will need to purchase the gels direct from the pharmacy and bring them to your appointment. They accept payment in person or over the phone. The compounding of the numbing gel typically takes 24 to 48 hours to make up so please arrange this up to 1 WEEK BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT. The numbing gel can either be posted to you or collected in person only by yourself (no third party).

Step 4: Attend Your Procedure Appointment

This is the appointment where your initial treatment will be performed. This appointment CANNOT be done without first completing STEP 3. After this appointment you will be given after-care instructions and we will book in your future touch-up appointment.

Step 5: Attend Your Touch-Up Appointments

For most treatments a touch-up appointment is required 1 month after the initial appointment and then every year thereafter to ensure your pigment takes hold and gives the best result.

In addition, an eyeliner tattoo will help save you a whole lot of time and frustration from short-lived makeup products.

Eyebrow TattooingAn eyebrow tattoo can add thickness and shape to your brows. It can strengthen and enhance the colour of your brows, plus it can rectify minor issues.

It is highly suitable for those looking to keep a regular and neat shape. The completed result is outstanding tattooed eyebrows that adds beauty and defi nition to any face.

Epiblade / DermaplaningDermaplaning is a safe, yet intensive facial peel intended for skin rejuvenation. The procedure can produce improvements in texture, pigmentation, acne scarring/scars, large pores, fi ne lines and wrinkles.

Dermaplaning removes the outermost layers of dead skin cells. This immediately leaves the skin feeling smooth, supple and vibrant. The treatment is safely performed using a sterile surgical blade. The blade is held against the skin at a 45-degree angle and stroked along the skin, akin to shaving.

Dermaplaning is performed on the face only and Debra does not blade the eyelids, nose or chest.

Scalp TattooingIf you have lost your hair and, as a result, your confidence, why not opt for a hair tattoo? A hair tattoo can create the illusion of hair and, as such, is a great – and safe – way to bring back your “hair” and your confidence. Hair tattooing in itself is a very simple process. It follows the technique of micropigmentation where a trained specialist will inject a coloured pigment into your scalp. This injection process will then be repeated until your specialist is satisfied that the end result will be something you’re happy with.

Areola RestorationSome cosmetic procedures and also natural occurrences can leave the nipple and areola distorted and the appearance out of shape. However, with areola tattooing this can be fixed and re-balanced while still producing a natural effect. A very specialised procedure for women who have undergone mastectomies or other breast surgery, or who may have irregular or fading areolas, these semi-permanent areola restoration procedures are nothing short of a miracle.

Areola tattooing employs permanent micropigmentation makeup as a way to restore the natural beauty of your breasts. This will not only help you regain confidence in your own femininity, but also allow you to feel more “normal” again. The areola tattooing restoration process in itself is very straightforward. Akin to a tattoo, Debra Miller will inject a coloured pigment into your breast. This pigment will then be used to create the illusion of an areola.

Vitiligo TreatmentIf you are looking for a way to reduce or eliminate your vitiligo then perhaps micropigmentation is for you. Cosmetic micropigmentation to treat virtiligo will not only correct your skin’s pigmentation issues, but will also enhance your confidence. To correct uneven patches of missing pigment, Debra uses her 25 years experience with cosmetic tattooing to match your skin tone and re-pigment your pale areas. Just like getting a tattoo, Debra will inject a coloured pigment into your skin. Unlike normal tattoos this tattoo and subsequent coloured pigment will be completed in order to recolour and even out your skin’s tone.

Pricing: Vitiligo treatment is very tailored depending on your condition. Because of this there are no standard prices and each client is quoted individually.


Scar CamouflageIf your scars have left you feeling insecure and self-conscious, then consider scar camouflage tattooing. This specialised treatment will permanently hide your scars and improve your confidence and self-esteem. Scar camouflage is likened to a medical tattoo, and, like any tattoo, it involves a needle. This needle will, however, be loaded with a colour-matched pigment, so that once injected, the pigment will align with the skin and conceal the scar.

As an experienced scar camouflage specialist, Debra has performed an increasingly large number of these types of medical tattoos.

Pricing: Scar camouflage is very tailored depending on your condition. Because of this there are no standard prices and each client is quoted individually.


Frequently Asked QuestionsHow often does it need to be touched up? The initial touch-up is done within 4 to 6 weeks from the initial treatment, this encourages the pigment to last a lot longer. After that it is recommended to have a touch up every 12 months for best results.

Is it painful?Every person’s pain tolerance is different and some people say it hurts and others say it doesn’t. Debra has been a specialist in micropigmentation for over 25 years and as a result is very quick and accurate! To ensure the greatest comfort Debra uses a topical anaesthetic which is applied before the treatment to dull any discomfort.

Is there any downtime?The healing time is approximately 5 to 7 days with slight swelling and some scabbing. this can be sped up with the application of Bepanthem cream.

Is there a payment plan options? Debra does offer payment plans, however the treatment will only be completed when full payment has been received.

Can I have it done whilst pregnant? Debra will not perform any treatments on pregnant women as a precaution. Even though it has been proven to be safe from the 2nd trimester onwards.

How long does it take? Each procedure is different, but in general a treatment for eyeliner tattooing takes approximately 35 to 45 minutes including the application of topical anaesthetic.

Can I get a touch-up? The touch-up price only applies to clients who have had their initial treatment done by Debra within the last 3 years. However, if your initial treatment was done by a different specialist then Debra will assess on a case-by-case basis.

Is it ok for sensitive eyes? This treatment is fine for sensitive eyes however you may experience a little more redness and swelling which should settle after approximately 7 days.

Is it ok with eyelash extensions? It is advisable to have eyelash extensions removed for the best possible eyeliner result.
