  1. 1. Exposition and Rising ActionsPeter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy Pevensie are sent tolive with Professor Kirke during WW2. While playing hideand go seek one day, Lucy hides in a wardrobe and ends up ina snowy land she later learns is called Narnia. Lucy met afawn named Tumnus, who informed her that it is alwayswinter and never snows in Narnia because of the witch.Edmund, the second child to enter the world ofNarnia, meets the White Witch and the witch asks him tobring his siblings on his next visit. When all four childrenenter the world of Narnia, they learn that Tumnus has beentaken by the witch. While discussing the matter with Mr.Beaver, Edmund sneaks away to the witch. Enraged, thewitch plots to kill the children.
  2. 2. Climax The race to the stone table begins as the childrenmeet many people such as Father Christmas and usetheir gifts against the evil that the White Witch has setout for them. When the witch is about to killEdmund, the children come in and save him. On thefollowing night, the two sisters follow Aslan to the stonetable where he is tormented and killed by the witch.After staying with him all night, the girls hear the tablecrack and see Aslan risen from the dead. The childrenjoin Aslans army and defeat the Witch.
  3. 3. Falling Actions and Resolution Edmund is knighted by Aslan and Peter became aprince in the kingdom, Cair Paravel. Lucy and Susan arepronounced queens and the land experiences all theseasons again. The children become adults and, oneday, stumble upon the lamppost that is near thewardrobe. They enter back into our world and no timehas passed. They tell professor Kirke of their adventures.He says that one day, they will return to the land ofNarnia.
  4. 4. About The Author C. S. Lewis, also known as Jack Lewis, was born inBelfast, Ireland on November 29, 1898. He was the son ofAlbert Lewis, a lawyer, and Flora Hamilton Lewis. Hisbrother was Warren Hamilton Lewis, but he preferred tobe called Warnie. Lewis had a very happy childhood.When his mother died of cancer, he was sent away toboarding school in England. As a teenager, Lewis beganto love poetry. Lewis studied at University College. Helater became a teacher. In addition teaching at theUniversity, Lewis began to publish books. His first majorbook was The Pilgrims Regress.
