Get your students to show what they know by creating print or digital versions of book, magazine, or CD jackets. This activity requires accurate, reflective thought on the content PLUS kicks up the creative thinking juices too! See this breakdown of three ideas and then see the second page for a full mock-up of a Bill of Rights assignment completed. Activity Description: Students Might Need ___ to Complete it: • Large enough paper (11x17) to make a book jacket that would
wrap around an unused textbook (certainly not the TCI book!) • Colored Pencils and photograph(s) to design the front of a book or
magazine cover or CD jacket. • Going digital? Encourage students to use popular software
platforms like PowerPoint, Keynote, or Google Docs to create their books, magazines, and CD covers.
