There are no classes on national and local holidays. These classes are not recoverable; except in the case of 1 week courses and Individual Courses. Junior ProgrammeOur young participants are taught in level groups together with students of all ages. The cultural pro-gramme is optional, and is also addressed to all students. Spanish at a teacher’s homeOur programme «Spanish at a teacher’s home» combines a Spanish course with conversation classes, guided cultural activities and full board accommodation at a teacher’s home. Students live in an indepen-dent and fully equipped apartment (with terrace and swimming pool) in La Zubia village, situated about 5 km from Granada, at the edge of the Sierra Nevada National Park. D.E.L.E. ExamsEscuela Montalbán is as a member of FEDELE, an accredited examination centre for the D.E.L.E. exams. The internationally recognized D.E.L.E. certificates («Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera») are issued by the Spanish Ministry of Education. The exams are organized by FEDELE Spain (National Federation of Spanish Language Schools) through their regional federations and the Instituto Cervantes.

Erasmus+ grants

In 2014 the former Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP) has been replaced by the new European Educa-tion Programme Erasmus+. Participants from EU member states, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Macedo-nia and Turkey can apply for Erasmus+ funding.

Erasmus KA1 Mobility grants promote the mobility of individuals. Our courses are aimed at European teachers and other experts in the field of further education for adults, especially for Spanish as a foreign language. Through Erasmus+ participants can apply for a scholarship for our training courses. The grants generally cover travel expenses, course and accommodation costs. Individuals cannot apply directly for grants; they should instead contact their University, College or work centre.

Organizations that are involved in adult or school education can apply for an Erasmus KA1 Mobility grant to send members of their staff to attend the following courses all year round:

Spanish in Spain Our school offers the programme «Spanish in Spain» in collaboration with partner schools and other TANDEM schools in Spain. Students can study Spanish in Granada for 1, 2 or more weeks and then continue learning in one of our partner schools in San Sebastián, Madrid or Cádiz.

Organized GroupsSecondary school and adult groups have participated in our Spanish course programmes for many years. On request we will prepare a tailor-made programme for you.
