Why take part in the Spring Course?

We limit class sizes to a maximum of 8 in order to provide you with care and support for

study. Small classes also enable a great learning environment and plenty of chances to

practice Japanese and ask questions.

We have designed various activities for you to experience real Japanese culture, such as

taking part in a tea ceremony, sushi-making, yukata trial (wearing kimono), Japanese

calligraphy … and MORE ! ** Price included in the course fee **

Coming to Hokkaido JaLS means that you can experience the best Spring ever! There are just

so many things to do in this stunning season! We run 3 different social activities every week,

so if you would like to take part in adventure activities, see cherry blossom, enjoy BBQ

parties with local Japanese people, go to the most famous zoo in Japan, and see the best of

Hokkaido then come and join us !** Activity fees are not included in the course fee **

◆ Culture Lesson Fee – There are two types of culture lesson. Culture lessons highlighted in orange are

included in the Summer Course fee (thus free to join) while those in yellow require extra payment in addition

to the course fee. However, we work hard to ensure that all JaLS students are able to access reduced prices,

＊Take a 5-week-course (or longer term) to enjoy the 10% off discount!

The following example is given as a student studying on the Summer Course for 6 weeks, and

then switching to our Standard Course for a further two weeks. A 10% discount is offered

from week 5.

In additional to the course fee, a registration fee of JPY 21,000 and teaching materials fees of

JPY 4,000 will be charged.

If you require accommodation services please state so at the time of registration. Hokkaido
