PRODUCTION TECHNIQUEBolla uses only fully mature grapes, in order to achieve the maximum expression of Merlot’s varietal character. The grapes are picked up by hand at the correct ripeness and vinifi ed on the skins with about 15 days maceration. The wine is fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and then undergoes malolactic fermentation. 10% of the wine is aged for 4 months in both American and French oak barrels before blending and bottling to add structure and character.

TASTE Bright black-cherry character enhanced by hints of licorice, vanilla and clove derived from the wood aging. A dry, savory and harmonic taste with a distinct fi nish of wild berries.
