INTRODUCTION Kyocera is pleased to announce the launch of the FS-1100 Simplex Printer. The FS-1100 produces 30 (LTR) pages per minute in B&W and is equipped with 32MB of standard memory. Key Features of the FS-1100 are as follows:

DEALER LIMITED WARRANTY FOR KYOCERA PRINTERS

Kyocera Mita America, Inc. (Kyocera) warrants to its Authorized Dealers that its new Multifunctional Products / Printers (both referred to herein as MFP/Printers) will be free from defects in workmanship and material under normal use and service for a period of 15 months from Kyoceras invoice date to Dealer, or the 100K copies/prints, whichever is earlier. Kyocera obligation hereunder is expressly limited to providing Dealer with the parts required to repair the MFP/Printer or crediting Dealer's account for the cost of said parts, at Kyocera's election. Maintenance Kits, lamps, exterior covers, consumable parts, and all labor costs, are specifically excluded from this warranty. This warranty does not cover MFP/Printer, which: (a) have become damaged due to operator negligence, misuse, accidents, improper storage or unusual physical or electrical stress, (b) have used parts or supplies which are not genuine Kyocera brand parts or supplies, (c) have been serviced by a technician not employed by Kyocera or an Authorized Kyocera Dealer (d) have had the serial number modified, altered, or removed, or (e) Dealer fails to register the installation information for the MFP/Printer with Kyocera utilizing KMAconnect. THIS WARRANTY IS MADE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND KYOCERA SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OR CONDITION OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THIS WARRANTY SHALL NOT EXTEND TO, AND KYOCERA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR, ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHICH MAY ARISE OUT OF THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE MFP/PRINTER.

Product Training for the FS-1100 is offered as a full On-Line Training Course at the Learning Center on KMAconnect. The Dealership can place their first order but will not be authorized to purchase additional printers until at least one technician has completed the on-line training course with an overall score of 80 or higher. Each Technician that will be taking an on-line course must have their own Log-in Name and Password so that the Certificates and the Dealer training records are processed correctly.

The Long Life Components included with the original printer carry a warranty for a period of three years or 100,000 prints, whichever first occurs. Long Life Components consist of the drum unit, the fixing unit, and the developing unit. Replacement Long Life Components installed as a result of a warranty claim are covered until the end of the original 3 year 100,000 print warranty. Any Long Life Components replaced after 3 years or 100,000 prints have a 90 day Limited Warranty.
