Elementary Progress Report (EPR) Module - Why Built?
Prior to the new EPR in InspirED:❏ Scales used by schools across the district were inconsistent
❏ Unsatisfactory, Partially Proficient, Proficient, Advanced❏ 1,2,3,4❏ Does Not Meet, Approaching, Meets, Exceeds❏ Incomplete Data, Below Grade Level, At Grade Level, Above Grade Level
❏ Content standards were missing and misleading❏ ex. only 2 of the 4 Reading Standards were included❏ ex. Standards language was changed due to space limitations
❏ Schools did not have the option to report out on all components of their curriculum❏ ex. 4Cs and 21st Century Skills were not accurate or complete
9
Elementary Progress Report (EPR) Module - Key Features
❏ Student progress ratings on all components of the DCSD Guaranteed and Viable Curriculum (GVC) for all content areas/integrated areas of study identified in a building
❏ Ability to design progress report based on the nuances of varied programmatic/academic focuses within our 48 elementary schools
❏ Ability to handle personalized plan needs of all learners through flexible reporting
❏ Personalized feedback from the student’s teacher based on differentiated learning
❏ Information about student performance on school-wide expectations and other demographic data (e.g. attendance)
