body vs computer
DESCRIPTION
A presentation for Mapping VJ Festival in Geneva in collaboration with HEAD school of design. The presentation introduces some historical milestones in terms of body interactions with machines from remote to touch, then discusses how artists in the seventies at E.A.T and C.A.V.S turned these technologies into aesthetic performances and finally explains how recent diy systems allow creative people to build their own real-time tools.TRANSCRIPT
