In human body the first part of the alimentary canal is the mouth. In human anatomy,

the mouth is the first portion of the alimentary canal that receives food and produces

saliva.

Commonly know as the food pipe or gullet ,is an organ in vertebrates thtough which passes , aided by peristaltic contractions, from the pharinx to the stomach

In humans body, the liver is locate in the uppet right quadrant of the adbomen in the liver the food pass into the stomachThe liver is an organ only found in vertebrates.

In humans and many other animals, the stomach is located between the oesophagus and the small intestine. It secretes digestive enzymes and gastric acid to aid in food digestion

The is a glandular organ in the digestive system. In humans, it is located in the abdominal cavity behind the stomach. The pancreas is near with the small intestine

The place where liquids from the pancreas and liver help to digest fats and

carbohydrates

The rectum is the final straight portion of the large intestine in humans and some other mammals, and the gut in others. The adult human rectum is about 12 centimetres long

Appendicitis: is the inflammation of the appendix, first part of the ascending

The patient feels pain when that point is pressed and experiences mild fever, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea constipation

It come from food waste

The cure is an operation

Eat a high-fiber diet. According to, a nutrition consultant in Marblehead, Massachusetts, consuming a diet that's high in fiber and rich in whole grains, vegetables, legumes, and fruits can improve your digestive health.

"A high-fiber diet helps to keep food moving through your digestive tract, making you less likely to get constipated," Adams says, adding that a high-fiber diet can also help you prevent or treat

RESPIRATORY SYSTEM

FUNCTION The respiratory system is used to breath and to supplies the blood with oxygen to all parts of the body .

The main parts are: the airways , the lungs , the blood vessels and the muscles . Also are more parts for example: the trachea , the alveolus , the bronchus , the bronchoile and the diaphgram

Inhalation and exhalation

• InahalationInahalation:

When we take breath, our diaphgram, the big muscle under the lungs, contracts and flattens to allow the lungs to inflate the ribs expand and move up to make more room

ExhalationExhalation:

When we breath out, the ribs relaxand move back in. The diaphgram relaxes and moves up, pushing the carbón dioxide out of the lungs and back up the trachea, out of the nose and mouth

TRACHEAThe trachea is a wide , hollow tube that conects he larings to the bronchi of the lungs . It is an integral part of the bodies airways and has the function of providing air flow to and from the lungs for respiration. It is

located along the bodies midline.

lungsThe lungs are important for breathing. Lungs deliver oxygen to your body and remove carbon dioxide from your body. Within the lungs, there are thiner tubes called bronchioles. These tubes end in bunches of tiny air sacs called alveoli. These air sacs are covered in a mesh of tiny blood vessels called capillaries. The pulmonary artery deliver blood rich in carbon dioxide to the capillaries that sorround the air sacs

AIRWAYSThe airways are

pipes that carry oxygen to your lungs . They also carry carbon dioxide , a waste gas , out of your lungs . The airways include : the mouth an the nose

DIAPHRAGMThe diaphram contracts and pushes its self into the abdominal cavity, increasing the volume of the thoracic cavity and expanding the lungs to draw infresh atmospheric air. When it relaxes, the diaphgram returns to its origenal positions and forzes air out of the lungs during exhalation

ILLNESSES• The illnesses more common

of the respiratory system are: the flu, the pharyngitis, the bronchitis the pneumonia and the asthma

ASTHMA: It´s a common diseases of the airways of the lungs, the medicament we can use is the Albuterol, Levalbuterol, Metaproterenol and Terbutalina

PNEUMONIA: It’s an inflamation of the lungs, caused by the infection of a virus or bacteria, the medicaments we can use is: the antibiotic drugs

HEALTHY HABITS

You have to breathe through the nose, avoid places with a lot of dust, do not smoke, avoid sudden temperature changes, regularly practice physical exercise and ventilate rooms daily.

CIRCULATORY SYSTEMCIRCULATORY SYSTEMRESEARCHERS: • María K.S.• Sergio S.P.• Laura C. L.

THE MAIN ORGANS OF THE THE MAIN ORGANS OF THE CICULATORY SYSTEMCICULATORY SYSTEM

• The heart • The arteries • The veins • The cells

Its main function is to transport the necessary nutrients and pump blood to cells of the whole body.

HEARTHEART

• Its main function its to pump the blood to all parts of the body, passing trough the lungs collecting oxygen to reach all the corners and parts of the whole body and return to the heart for pump it again.

This is how our hearts sounds

WHITE AND RED BLOOD CELLSWHITE AND RED BLOOD CELLSWhite blood cells are cells that takecare of our inmune system and help us to defend ourselves The red blood cells are the cells that has the important function of transporting floating trough our blood

THE ARTERIES AND VEINSTHE ARTERIES AND VEINS

• There are two types of blood vessels in the circulatory system of the body:

Arteries that carry oxygenated blood from the heart to various parts of thr body and veins that carry blood towards the heart for purification

CELLSCELLS WHITE AND RED BLOOD CELLSWHITE AND RED BLOOD CELLS

White blood cells are cells that takecare of our inmune system and help us to defend ourselves The red blood cells are the cells that has the important function of transporting floating trough our blood

ILLNESSESILLNESSESHere are some illnesses of our circulatory system

Heart failureHeart failureIndequate pumpimg causes circulation to decrease in all of our body and blood to accumulate in the veins. It also joins the lungs

Arterial hypertensionArterial hypertensionThe force that the blood effects on the wall of the arteries may not be constant.Family history, lack of physical activities, salt intake at meals are factors that beneft this alteration that cause damage to the heart, kidneys and retina

ILLNESSESILLNESSES

Inadequate circulationInadequate circulationIt becomes evident when the muscles of the legs do not receive enough blood. Smoking, being over 60 , beings obese , having high blood pressure, having diabetes are factors that aggravate the disease that is already serious

Cardiac AttackCardiac AttackCardiac attack consists in the blockage of the arteries that carry blood and oxygen to the organs

STAYING HEALTHY STAYING HEALTHY

• Keep habits of healthy food• Avoid diets with fats normally they are incredibly

unhealthy • Drink more water• Sleep well every night• Adhere to an exercise regime, limit your vices• Be hygenic• Make small changes in your lifestyle

NERVOUS SYSTEMBY

IZARBE,

RAQUEL AND MÓNIC

A

The Nervous System coordinates the

voluntary and involuntary movements of the body. It

includes the brain, the spinal cord and the nerves .

MAIN ORGANSYour brain is the boss of your body and runs the whole body . It has 4 parts : the cerebrum , the skull , the cerebellum , the brain stem and the spinal cord .

BRAIN NEURONSThe nervous system is made up of cells that at the same

time has tiny cells called neurons that transfer information through the nervous

system using electrical and

chemical signals .

NERVESThe nerves are part of the

nervous system and are the ones that make the body

movement posible .

THE SPINAL CORDThe spinal cord is another main organ . The spinal cord is made up of nerve tissue and runs from our brain down our spine . The

spinal cord is protected by the vertebrae . It controls our reflex actions .

ILLNESSESThe alzheimer is a

sicollogic illness that afect to the

brain . The neurons start to die and you

don´t remember nathing or no one .

ALZHEIMER

Meningitis is a serious illness that

affects the membranes

surrounding the brain and spinal

cord.

MENINGITIS

TETRAPLEGICYou can get tetraplegic with an accident .

When you have an accident and your spinal cord is brocken your nerves doesn´t pass the information . Then your body can

´t move .

STAYING HEALTHYTo stay healthy you have to eat fruits and

vegetable , do exercise and finaly the most important thing is to take a break the rest

of the day

MUSCULAR SYSTEM

By : Jara , Arturo and Acher.

What are muscles?• Muscles are all made

of the same material, a type of elastic tissue . Thousands, or even tens of thousands, of small fibers make up each muscle

• The muscular system help us to sustain the body.

Types of musclesThey are 3 types: the

skeletal muscles, the smooth muscles and the cardiacal muscle.

Skeletan muscle: they are joined to bones by tendons.

Smooth muscle: are found in organs such as the intestine or stomach.

Cardiac muscle: makes up our heart

Supporting, balancing, and propelling the body is the work of the muscular system of the legs and feet. Parts of the legs:AdductorsGluteus Calf muscleQuadricepsBiceps femoris

ABDOMINALSThese important

muscles control many motions that involve moving the arms and head – such as throwing a ball…

Breathing,, is controlled by the muscles connected to the ribs of the chest and upper back....

ARMS• The muscles of the arm

and hand are specifically designed to meet the body’s diverse needs of strength, speed, and precision.

• Parts of the arm• Deltoid• Biceps• Triceps trapezius

Ilnesses• When you make sport

you can have illnesses and injuries you have had, such as asthma or a broken leg,and it is important to call a doctor.

How to stay healthy? If you want to stay

healtyYou have to strech to

prevent diseases.You have to eat

healthy.

SKELETAL SYSTEM

BY: YANIRA, LUCÍA, LORENA AND IZAN.

PURPOSE:

The bones there are necesary for:

Stay in balance, for move and a lot of many things.

MAIN ORGANS:

There are 3 types of organs: flat, longs and short.

FLAT BONES: skull, clavicle and ribs.

SHORT BONES: vertebrae spine.

LONG BONES: femur.

SKULLVERTEBRAE SPINE

FEMUR

-Bone trauma

-Osteoporosis: weakens the bones.

-Impercet osteogenesis: make that your bones there are fragil and brittle

- BONE BREAK

-If a vertebrate break is possible that the spinal cord is cut

Common Types of Fractures

Stages in the Healing of a Bone Fracture

A joint or articulation is the conection made between which link the skeletal system into a functional whole

HOW DOES SOMEONE CONTRACT THE ILLNESS?

- osteoporosis: you don´t have to drink alcohol and smoke. You have to do exercise and eat C,B vitamins and eat calcium.

IMPERFECT OSTEOGENESIS

Osteogenesis imperfecta is a group of genetic disorders that mainly affect the bones. People with this condition have bones that break easily, often from mild trauma or with no apparent cause.

THE EXCRETORY SYSTEM

By SARA HINCAPIÉ

PABLO CUBERO

ARA HERNÁNDEZ

Excretory System

• Eliminates waste products from our body.

There are 4 parts:1-Kidneys2-Ureter3-Bladder4-Urethra

1-Kidneys

1.1-Their most important job is to take waste out of the blood and make urine.

1.2-Renal arteries:carry blood to the kidneys, through all parts of the body.

2-Ureter

This thin,tube-like structure carries urine from the kidney to the bladder. There are two ureters – one draining each kidney.

Bladder - Urethra

4-This single tube-like structure allows urine to exit the body from the bladder

3-Is a muscular sac in the lower abdomen, stores urine until is it passed from the body through the urethra

ILNESSES• Kidney disease:• Nephritis is the inflammation of one or both

kidneys. The organs, body tissues and body cells can be attacked with the autoimmune system.

• Symptons: -Treatment:• smelly urine -Antibiotics• Pain in lower abdomen • Blood in urine

Urinary Tracts Infection • Bladder diseases

• In children are caused by bacteria that enter the urethra and travel up the urinary tract.Bacteria in the large intestines are the most common cause of infection.

• Symptons: -Treatment:• Fever -Antibiotic• Irritability• Foul-smelling urine• Crying during urination

HEALTHY HABITS

• It is advisable to drink plenty of water (2l or 2,5l) to dilute calculations or avoid them from becoming destructed or prevent urinary track destruction
