Honk mouth and arm crossed

The facial expression of this little girl may show her disagreement or anger. Beside, the cross-arm reinforces her unhappy feeling.

Biting lip

The woman shows her frustration by biting her lower lip with her teeth. People may have this kind of facial expression when they encounter setback or problems.

Fingers crossed

The person with fingers crossed may hope things will go smoothly. People will cross their finger when they want to have good luck or want to receive from the God. Some people will also cross their fingers when they cheat someone or do something wrong in order to get blessed and not to get punishment.

OK gesture

People always show their agreement to others by making the ok gesture. People will make this gesture when they see good things. However, this gesture has different from country to country. For instance, this ok gesture means money in Japan instead of the positive meaning.

Thumbs up

People will show their appreciation, encouragement and agreement with thumbs up. Another common meaning is “Can I hitch a ride?” If people want to get a ride, they will use this gesture to stop a car.
