The process for final ARCP review is that the panel will be required to unequivocally state on the outcome form that all mandatory and/or recommended PYA targets have been met.

Please see the below link for further details regarding the Completion of higher Specialty Training as outlined on the JRCPTB website: http://www.jrcptb.org.uk/training-certification/completing-training

In addition you will need to be issued with a separate final outcome for General Internal Medicine (GIM) (unless single accrediting) following the final review for Respiratory Medicine. This will take place in absentia. You will need to ensure that you have evidence of the following on your ePortfolio:

• Completion of ALL mandatory PYA targets for GIM set at the Penultimate Year Assessment

• Curriculum sign-off (by both you and your Educational Supervisor)

• Up-to-date CV

You will need to email [email protected] to confirm so that arrangements can be made for the GIM panel to issue your Outcome 6. We will contact you once the outcome has been issued to obtain your signature.

It can take some time to get the final paperwork signed and the Postgraduate Dean only has 60 days post-CCT to recommend you for revalidation, which they are unable to do without the completed paperwork. This may mean they are unable to recommend you for revalidation and may have to notify the GMC that you have failed to engage with the process. Therefore please ensure that you contact us to confirm completion of your mandatory targets well in advance of your CCT date.
