Dirt jumping is where the rider jumps from big compact mounds of dirt and fly's through the air doing a variety of tricks, these dirt jumps can also be made a variety of sizes, some bigger to lift the rider higher up into the air and some smaller.

BMX Track racing

Bmx racing is a type of off road bike racing, this came from

motocross racing. Bmx races are sprint races on man made off road single lap race tracks. The track is usually a starting gate for up to about eight racers, a smooth dirt race course made of a start gate, various jumps and a finish

Freestyle bmxing was first found in the late 1970’s, where bmx riders spent a lot of time of their bmx bikes at concrete skate parks in San Diego, California (USA).
