Dear Motorcyclist andBMWenthusiast,

Your BMW Motorcycle is the product of an innovativ'e design policy.

Traditional motorcycle components and advanced engineering have been combined to form anoptimum functional unit. .

Regular maintenance intervals have been specified for your safety and to retain the value ofyour motorcycle. The maintenance work is divided into Service and Inspection.

The first inspection should be performed at 1000 km (600 miles). After 7500 km (5000 miles) aService is specified, after a further 7500 km (5000 miles) an Inspection. The maintenance workis carried out at your BMW Motorcycle Service Shop by specially trained and qualified motorcy-cle mechanics and confirmed in the Service Booklet. A sticker below the dualseat reminds you

of the date of your next Service or Inspection.It is important that you keep to the specified intervals. Only in this way can you maintainthe full rights provided in the warranty.

Each BMW Motorcycle Inspection or Service has fixed suggested prices, which are calculatedon the basis of flat rates for each job. Fuels, oils and lubricants, filters, seals etc. are chargedseparately.

Have your motorcycle inspected at least once a year. Even if you have not covered the distance

specifiedin

the maintenance schedule.Should you have any queries or problems, contact your BMW Motorcycle Service Shop, whichwill be glad to provide you with professional aid and advice.

Recommendation:Grease throttle twistgrip and steering bearings a t least every 30000 km (20000miles) if motorcycle operatesin extreme conditions.1 At least every six months ;every three months or no later than every 3000 km (2000 miles) if operated only over short distances

or at outside temperatures below 02 C.2 At least once a year
