CONTRACT AND BILL OF SALE – SHOW/BREEDING POTENTIAL DOG The sale of dogs and cats is subject to consumer protection regulations. Minnesota law also provides safeguards to protect pet dealers and animal purchasers (Puppy Lemon Law). Minnesota Statutes, section 325.79.

1. This dog is purebred and the pedigree is correct and given at time of sale. Dog is registerable with the AKC unless form is withheld per written agreement. REFUND: 100% provided dog and registration papers are returned to seller within 30 days of purchase. 2. The health of this animal is guaranteed for TEN (10) days via examination of a veterinarian at the option and expense of the buyer. If the dog is found to be in unsatisfactory health and written documentation of the condition is presented, the seller shall, provided the dog and its registration papers are returned, at sellers option (buyer and seller to initial options agreed upon below): Buyer Seller _________ _________ a. 4. This animal is guaranteed to be free of hereditary crippling / disabling defects apparent by ______ months of age. (Minimum of 24 months) Determination of what constitutes a hereditary defect is to be by the unanimous agreement of two (2) veterinarians agreeable to both parties. One of these veterinarians to be a tenured faculty member of an accredited university veterinary teaching hospital or Board Certified in the applicable specialty. Buyer agrees to: • Annual veterinary checkups, including screening for heartworm/and administer preventative • Keep all immunizations current according to AVMA guidlines. • Provide adequate housing according to state law. • Confine the animal in a fenced yard or kennel run, or walk on a leash–not confined on a rope or chain. Should these conditions not be met, all guarantees are void and seller may reclaim the dog and registration papers. 8.________ ________ (Buyer and seller initial) If buyer decides to sell or otherwise dispose of this dog, seller has right of first refusal. If seller chooses to reclaim the dog compensation equal to the total purchase price of the dog shall be made. Buyer agrees to not knowingly sell or dispose of any offspring of this animal to wholesalers, pet shops, or dog dealers. Failure to comply will void all guarantees and result in a lawsuit.

We ask the new owners to be aware of the pet population problems and train your dog to be a good neighbor in your area. We are concerned in protecting and improving purebred dogs and the individual breeds by using the standards of the AKC to guide us in improving our types via a good breeding program. Show/Breeding potential quality dogs come from the same litters we are breeding for our own “SHOW” prospects. This is a representative of the breed that we would be proud to take into the ring ourselves. Therefore it is our aim to place this show dog in a good family home with a clear understanding that this potential champion will be trained properly by socializing and hands-on training at a professional dog training school.

CO-OWNER AGREEMENT

THE PURPOSE OF CO-OWNING THIS PUREBRED DOG IS FOR BREEDING OR CONFORMATION SHOW. BOTH PARTIES AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS:

1. Physical custody will be retained by owner #1 ___________________________________________________

2. All housing costs, veterinary bills, show entries (owner #1 wil decide where and when the dog is to be showen) and handler fees will be paid by the owner with physical custody unless otherwise agreed upon.

3. This dog shall be pre-limbed at 6 months of age and OFA certified at 24 month of age.

4. All breeding while this dog is on a co-ownership contract is to be done after 24 months of age and OFA certification. Breeding will be done at a mutually agreed upon time and to a mutually agreed upon stud dog or bitch. All costs associated with breeding will be paid by the owner(s) as agreed upon at time of breeding.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ENDING CONTRACT:

When the fulfillment described below have been satisfied this co-owner contract shall end and all paperwork pertaining to this dog will be signed over to owner #1. This means that owner #2 will no longer have any claims or breeding rights to the above mentioned dog.

The breeder is to receive 2 pick puppies from either the first litter or 1 pick puppy from each of the first two litters produced from a mutually agreed upon stud dog or bitch.

This dog is to finish its AKC championship unless this is deemed impossible by both parties.

If at any time the terms of this contract and the terms of the bill of sale are not being meet by the party with physical custody, co-owner #2 shall take custody of the dog and the first co-owner will be required to sign over all paperwork pertaining to the dog.
