From Advent to Christmas

With Christmas coming next week (it feels like thisAdvent season went by fast), I wanted to take the time tothank you for traveling through Advent as a church. Ihope that it has been a season of waiting and anticipationplus growth and learning. Also, I want to wish you all aMerry Christmas.

Throughout the years, Christmas for Christians hasbeen not just a day but twelve days. For these twelvedays we think about what it means that God becameman. The incarnation, that act of God becoming like us,has a lot to tell us. I invite you to think about the factthat in Jesus the world got to experience the physicalpresence of God.

Physical presence means so much. I am deeplythankful for how technology has allowed me to keep upothers, but seeing someone in person is still somethingspecial. So, this Christmas remember that God loved youso much that he came down to live with us. I hope thatthrough the Holy Spirit you can experience that lovefor these twelve days and beyond. So again, MerryChristmas!
