Recently, 70 young managers from Bluestar attended the first training session on ERP management knowledge.

Focusing on SAP supply chain integration, in-house ERP specialists helped trainees develop a deeper understanding of costing, budgeting, sales forecasting, operational planning and the business process from execution to delivery. The lecturers also talked about how to make reasonable use of information systems to support production operations, considering the actual ERP landscape of Bluestar.

Executive VP of Bluestar Zhang Lijun attended the training session and pointed out that implementation of SAP-ERP can help improve the management performance and core competitiveness of Bluestar. Zhang encouraged the trainees to know more about the management rationale behind SAP-ERP and make flexible use in jobs to facilitate rollout and an optimal application of ERP.

It is said that Bluestar will hold ad-hoc lectures on production planning and execution, cost center planning and budget, cost consolidation and allocation, profitability analysis and profit center accounting in light of the needs of the organizational.

Noise and tranquility

I have become obsessed with the songs of Enya Brennan, an Irish songbird, who always brings me tranquility in this noisy world with her soft and

touching intonation.

Walking past roadside stores, I was overwhelmed by successive waves of high-pitched rock & roll, suddenly driven out of a peaceful state of mind. “Noisy,” I hurried off with a sigh. It seems that hullabaloo and tranquility are two individuals that can never come together, but I seem to have gradually found a medium that allows them to coexist.

On one side of the river is a hustling and bustling mall, while on the other side lies a library hidden in woods, and the two exist in harmony. Book lovers can get immersed in the books in air-conditioned rooms, while partiers can walk past different stores in the mall, amid the electrifying rock and roll. Their next stop might be either their cozy homes or the different views right across the river. Right here, noise coexists with tranquility in harmony and without mutual interference.

Some people love noise, others love tranquility. Some people love the roaring water, while others love quiet mountains. What I love is everything in the world.

I love both enjoying the different passion in the noisy world and experiencing the beauty of mountain forest in a tranquil environment. I love both feeling the intensity of surging water and appreciating the solidity of tranquility amid the mountains.

Writers often write in their own world, free from interference, when they are not famous, but all would change if they gained fame. Newshounds and frenetic fans would mess their lives up, bringing them endless noise. Many talented writers are therefore buried under thick layers of dust and hullabaloo.

Like water and oil, how can noise coexist with tranquility? There are many occasions where we should understand that two seemingly opposite things simply lack a suitable medium.

We should understand that throughout our lives what we need to overcome is not the paradoxical existence of things like noise and tranquility, but ourselves, because our attitude toward things around us depends upon our mindset. If we are unfortunately defeated, it is just because we are not strong enough.

Coexistence of noise and tranqui l i ty is not impossible.
