From the 24” Panel - White/Blue (A), fussy cut:• (1) 23” x 43” panel.

From the Small Geo - Med. Blue (B), cut:• (2) 2” x 43” WOF strips, piece as needed.• (2) 2” x 26” WOF strips.• (3) 2 ½” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 2 ½” x 56 ½” strips.• (2) 2 ½” x 40 ½” WOF strips.• (6) 2 ½” x WOF strips for the binding.

From the Floral Packed - Blue (C), cut:• (3) 6 ½” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 6 ½” x 44 ½” strips.• (2) 6 ½” x 36 ½” WOF strips. From the Damask - Med. Blue (D), cut:• (4) 5 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut strip into (22) 5 ½” squares.

From the Abstract Paisley - White/Blue (E), cut:• (4) 5 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut strip into (22) 5 ½” squares.

From the Damask - Dk. Blue (F), cut:• (7) 3” x WOF strip. Sub-cut strip into (92) 3” squares.

From the Embellished Floral - Blue (Backing), cut:• (2) 58” x WOF strips for the backing. Sew the strips together and trim to make the 58” x 78” back.

Sewing Instructions1. Sew (1) 2” x 43” Fabric B strip to each side of the 23” x 43” Fabric A panel. Sew (1) 2” x 26” Fabric B strip to the top and to the bottom of the Fabric A panel. Trim the block to measure 24 ½” x 44 ½” to make the Center Block (Fig. 1).

2. Place (1) 3” Fabric F square on the top left corner of (1) 5 ½” Fabric D square, right sides together (Fig. 2). Sew across the diagonal of the smaller square from the upper right corner to the lower left corner (Fig. 2). Flip open the triangle formed and press (Fig. 3). Trim away the excess fabric from behind the triangle ¼” away from the sewn seam.

Trim to measure24 ½” x 44 ½”

Quilt Top Assembly (Refer to the Quilt Layout while assembling.)8. Sew (1) 6 ½” x 44 ½” Fabric C strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 6 ½” x 36 ½” Fabric C strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block.

9. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 56 ½” Fabric B strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 40 ½” Fabric B strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block.

10. Sew (6) Unit 4 blocks and (6) Unit 3 Blocks together, alternating them. Repeat to make a second strip. Sew (1) strip to each side of the Center Block. Pay attention to the orientation of the strips.

11. Sew (4) Unit 4 blocks and (4) Unit 3 blocks together, alternating them. Sew (1) Unit 1 to the left end of the strip and (1) Unit 2 to the right end. Sew the new strip to the top of the Center Block. Pay attention to the orientation of the units.

12. Sew (4) Unit 3 blocks and (4) Unit 4 blocks together, alternating them. Sew (1) Unit 2 to the left end of the strip and (1) Unit 1 to the right end. Sew the new strip to the bottom of the Center Block to make the quilt top. Pay attention to the orientation of the units.

13. Layer and quilt as desired.

14. Sew the (6) 2 ½” x WOF Fabric B strips together, end to end with 45-degree seams, to make the binding. Fold this long strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides together and press.

15. Bind as desired.

5. Repeat Steps 2-3 and use Figure 6 for fabric identification and location to make (2) Unit 2 blocks.

6. Repeat Steps 2-3 and use Figure 7 for fabric identification and location to make (20) Unit 3 blocks.

7. Repeat Steps 2-3 and use Figure 8 for fabric identification and location to make (20) Unit 4 blocks.

3. Follow Figure 4 for the seam direction to add a 3” Fabric F square to the upper right and lower left corners of the 5 ½” Fabric D square to make (1) Unit 1 block (Fig. 5).

4. Repeat Steps 2-3 to make a second Unit 1 block.
