Blood Bank Management System
The primary reason of Blood Bank Management System is to
ensure the protection of blood and efficient use of many sources
contain in this process. The creation of this system is to simplify
the technique of looking out for blood in case of emergency. This
software help to significantly improve the quality of recording and
management of information about all the donors and patients,
blood collection details, blood supply details, blood stock details
etc. Besides, this system will also monitor the progress of the
Blood Bank.

This system is not only for business purpose but also for social
services. So the scopes can be:
� This system can be used for maintaining all the process and
activities of BBMS.
� Avoid accumulating blood from individuals who might also be
unsuitable due to the threat of health factors that might also harm the
patients.
� Through the recordings of the donors and blood details, this system
can provide an efficient donor and blood stock management functions
to the blood bank.
� This system can be used to manage and control the sales,
purchases and stocks of blood.
� In the development of this system, there shall be the space for future
modification.
Scope:
We can build our system using the Iterative model. Iteratively we
can add more functionality according to the feedback of Blood
Bank. Some functionality can be:
�Our system can able to create backup copies of stored data.
�We can add a feature that withdraws the registration details of
donor or patient.
� Person who has the access right can change his or her
password.
� Along with the donor and patient, we can include hospitals
here.
� We can add a feature that creates a “Blood Donation Camp”
Management.
Model
The aim of BBMS is to create a bridge between thedemand and supply of blood. The main purpose ofthis BBMS is to bring the donor and the patient in
a common platform. The most important viewpoint of BBMS is for men and women who are
willing to donate blood to the patients. It shouldencourage new donors and retain old donors to
donate blood. This BBMS is designed to overcomethe problems of the existing system. For every
blood demand request it will improve theefficiency of data communication within the
supply chain.
