Forest Park was the place to be on Sunday, June 30. More than 1,500 people attended the inaugural, St. Louis area Head for the Cure race.

Head for the Cure Foundation is dedicated to raising awareness and funding to fight brain cancer.

The ZAMboost crew was there to cheer on the participants as well as talk to people about our immune support supplement.

We had plenty of free product samples to share and plenty of ZAMboost sunglasses to pass along.

Notice these people’s cool sunglasses? They stopped by our tent before the race to say hello.

Barbara Leinert, Dr. Russell Imboden and Patrick Leinert, Sr were on hand to talk about what makes ZAMboost so special. (The Leinerts are the driving force behind the supplement. Dr Imboden acted as an advisor during product development.)

Those who attended were treated to nutritious snacks and chilled water.

Some participants enlisted the entire family, bringing out the youngest of supporters as well as their furry friends.

The event was a perfect place for pooches to express their enthusiasm and support for the cause.

(In fact, this pup was so excited about being at the event, he couldn’t wait to get walking! Here he is, burning off some extra energy before the race/walk.)

Some people who came out didn’t walk or run. Instead, they enjoyed the solitude or took photos.

At each 5K event, not only are the top racers recognized, the organization celebrates five extraordinary individuals who have battled cancer and won.
