CareAiArticial Intelligence for anonymous

distributed healthcare.

Who is it for?

An undocumented person in need of medical assistance for an illness they have contracted who, due to irregular migratory situation, is afraid of going to the doctor in the national healthcare system, and cannot aord private insurance

The person acquires a lab on a chip, distributed for free in homeless shelters, pharmacies and other places. It includes a nger prick. The nger is pricked a drop of blood is deposited onto the chip, which is inserted into the machine.

The blood sample is anonymous and is analysed by a CareAi - Articial Intelligence health assistant.

Once diagnosed, the machine asks for consent for this anonymous data to be shared for medical research and upon approval prints out a receipt with further actions and condence of analysis. From recommendations, to prescriptions at participating pharmacies and escalation to medical attention at NGO doctors.

The person is asked if they would like to add the results to their anonymous logbook for later reference, if so - a card with a bespoke QR code is issued, which the person can use later on to create a medical record with each donation.

How is this funded?

Governments & enterprises use an application which pays to access the anonymised data through smart contracts. This payment goes on to subsidise the anonymous medical treatment and pay the creators of the ATMs. In exchange, these paying entities have access to medical insights that can better inform and plan healthcare funding and policy.

An invisible demographic of migrants, travelers, professionals temporarily working in a country, ethnic minorities and homeless, those unregistered with the traditional healthcare system often experience constraints in accessing health care. It becomes worse as these communities might pose as a health risk to the wider population if no alternative is provided to them.

What is CareAi?

CareAi is a platform that allows the invisibles to get access to basic healthcare and useful, contextual information without compromising their identity.

It not only begins the process of creating anonymized medical history for future diagnosis and eventual integration into the mainstream healthcare system but allows the Government to become aware of ongoing health issues in these invisible communities and plan accordingly.

The program stimulates entrepreneurship through open-hardware and distributed manufacturing of CareAi nodes connected to a blockchain health data marketplace. Here parties interested in purchasing anonymous medical history records (national & trans-national healthcare authorities) can cooperate in a trust-free fashion.

How does it work?

The CareAi journey involves a few key stakeholder and some basic concepts. From SMEs such as FabLabs & Makerspaces to aliated Healthcare NGOs that provide medical attention to the Governments and corporation that pays for the anonymised data.

The CareAi Stages

1 Fabrication SMEs produce CareAi points from an open source blueprint. z2 An undocumented person donates their blood data into the CareAi point

3 The CareAi point is loaded with Articial Intelligence software that references a vast array of medical & diagnosing libraries. It dispenses advice with a corresponding rating of condence.

4 This advise is coupled with a QR code with which participating healthcare NGOs can claim back any attention paid to the individual

5 The data contributed is anonymised and stored securely on the blockchain, along with data from various CareAi points.

6 Smart contracts on the blockchain manage the rights, permission and access to the health data

7 A DistributedApp can be used to access this data through the smart contracts

8 Governments and Corporations buy tokens with which to use the app with. These tokens are then used to pay the Healthcare NGOs and the creators / maintenance of the points

Lab on a chipA lab-on-a-chip is a device that integrates one or several laboratory functions on a single integrated circuit of only millimeters to a few square centimeters

DAppA DApp is a distributed app. It allows an interface to the blockchain’s smart contracts. This is the portal which the entities requesting data would use.

ICOAn initial coin oering is made, in which entities that will potentially use the service to request data can purchase a limited amount of coins at special prices. This then becomes seed funding for the CareAi project

RenumerationCareAi point sponsors/manufacturers are given a percentage of the money paid into the blockchain depending on how much data it contributed. This incentivises the production and maintenance of the CareAi points
