The focus of the stud& was to assess the knowledge on blood donation among 2 st &ear Sc nursing students

+A)E. am'all& college of nursing0 ,&derabad. The design of the stud& was descri'tive stud&.The structured questionnaire used

for the 79 sam'les.In short the section 2 sam'le is having ?@ knowledge regarding blood. In section : < the sam'le is having

onl& @=.> knowledge regarding criteria for blood donation. In section :7 the sam'le is having69.6 knowledge regarding during

blood donation. In section :6 the sam'le is having 7.7 regarding after the blood donation. And in section:@ the sam'le is having

69.> knowledge regarding com'lications and its management.

The overall knowledge of sam'le having =9 in below average and 79 sam'le having average knowledge.
