welcome to donate after mass.

There were few changes in the Pastoral Care List, please pick up new list at the back of the church.

There was a change in the Knights Meeting date. The meeting will be October 25th no October 18th. There will be no Knights Mass schedule. Catholic Parish of the Holy Name in Vermilion is hosting a Called to Protect workshop on October 13,

from 1pm – 4pm. If you are interested in volunteering for any type of parish ministry, now or in the future, please consider taking this training.

NOTES TO YOU…

THIS OCTOBER—COLLECTION FOR THE MEN’S SHELTER

Items always needed: Lots of socks, also t-shirts, underwear, used blue jeans, shirts, winter jackets, shoes, work boots, steel-toed boots, hard hats, travel coffee mugs, used suitcases, back packs, and blankets .

Toiletries needed: Shavers, toothbrushes/toothpaste, deodorant. NO shampoo or hand soap please, as they have a lot already.

Thank you for your ongoing support! Donations may be dropped off in the parish coat room off the foyer during the month of October.

The Blessed Sacrament Ladies Tea and Bake Sale will be held on Saturday November 17th from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Blessed Sacrament church in the hall. We are in need of some help to make the tea a success. There is a sign up sheet at the back of the church for those willing to lend a helping hand. This year there will be no Lucky 7 or pick a prize. We would like to encourage you to bring baking for the bake table. Thank you for your support and time.

Blessed Sacrament Parish is looking for someone who can clean upthe snow during the season. This position would be for several hours as require. Anyone interested please drop off resume at the

parish office from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. For more information may contact the parish office at 780-842-3487.

The Life Chain Annual Walk for Life in Lloydminster will be held on Sunday, September 30, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm Join us at Lloydminster City Hall as we walk in support of the unborn. Refreshments and snacks will be available at St. Anthony's Hall following the walk. Everyone is welcome!

Sacrament of Reconciliation: One half hour (30 minutes) before every Mass, including Sundays, or by appointment by Father Roy Laudenorio

Sacrament of Baptism: The child’s Birth Certificate with parents’ names is required to register for Baptism.

Sacrament of Marriage: Contact the Parish Office at least SIX MONTHS before the intended wedding date.
