• 1st nations schools accessing in near future• Other boards are working on SIS integration with d2l• GLC careers course redone with a significant gaming

process added• 1st call to Action: raise e learning enrolments by 10% in

2012-2013• 2nd call to Action: 25-50% students trying blended

learning

Le 10 Update• Simplified user interface• Added a more personalized user experience• Improved social learning• More of a web 2.0 look, with drop down menus, tabs are gone, • New course background!! They will all come white unless the teacher, designs

them, a quick video exists to show how to do will be uploaded, click and save• Students can decide if they want to get an email or a text when grades entered• Teachers have the ability to pin their courses to the top. Less back and forth • Parent auditor roles??• Nicer rubric tools• June 4th, 5th, 10th Test environment up with the new interface • August 16th, 17th Le 10 will be up and running

• 11 courses with enhanced question banks• CGG30 Travel and Tourism, question library• Elementary Interface, expanding K-12• Custom content logic, will take students right to

the page they left off on when they sign in

Katie Long Renfrew DSB• Orientation, 75 min training with teachers and class• Will need to adjust in terms of new learning

environment however, general platform is the same• Integrations in the near future RSS feeds in widgets,

looking at integrating the HPEDSB news feed into the LMS, google apps, turnitin, online rooms like adobe connect

• Teachers could do similar with their own news feeds
