Spot Admission Notice 2020-21

Applications are invited for admission in the following courses:

Program Qualification Duration

Dual Degree B.Tech- M.Tech program

12th (10+2 Sc.) pass from both Maths and Bio streams ( Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or Physics, Chemistry and Biology )

5 Years

2 year M. Tech. program in NBIC

B.E./B.Tech (4 years) or 2 year M.Sc.. Degree in Science

2 Years

Above courses are available in four streams of converging technologies, namely:

(i) Nanotechnology (ii) Biotechnology & Bioinformatics

(iii) Information & Communication Technology

(iv) Cognitive & Neuroscience

Admission will be based on merit. Minimum Eligibility for above courses: 55% in the

qualifying examination.

No cancellation of seat will be permitted after spot admission.

Venue: Centre for Converging Technologies, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur(11 AM to 4 PM)

1. If a candidate who has already taken admission and is satisfied with the given allotment, he/she

need not attend the spot admission. More number of candidates are being called for the spot

admission and mere calling/attending the spot admission will not entitle anyone for allotment of

seat. Candidates reporting late will not be permitted. To attend Spot Admission, candidate

should compulsorily bring all required original certificates, Demand Draft for prescribed tuition

fee and be accompanied by either of the parents, failing which they will not be permitted for

Spot Admission. 2. Download the PDF admission form and fill it up before coming to CCT.

3. LIST OF DOCUMENTS TO BE BROUGHT AND SUBMITTED AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION: All

Original certificates

Two (02) sets of Xerox copies of all the certificates from Sl.No. (a) to (f) including AADHAR

Card and PAN Card. The students are further advised to scan all their original certificates and

keep the images in secured locations like pen-drive/PC/e-mail/ Google drive before submitting to

the CCT at the time of admission processes, as the original certificates will be returned to the

students only after the completion of enrolment at University of Rajasthan.

f. 02 sets of photocopies of Aadhaar Card of the student and 2 sets of photo copies of Aadhaar &

PAN cards of Father and Mother (all compulsorily to be brought)

4. Cash or Demand Draft drawn on any nationalized bank in favour of “ Director, Centre for

Converging Technologies” for Rs. 45,000 per semester payable at Jaipur

5. The following instructions are to be compulsorily observed during the admission process by the

candidate and accompanying parent in view of the COVID-19:

a. Candidate and only parents will be permitted into the college premises for admission process.

b. No entry for the candidate and parents without Mask.

c. Physical distancing should be maintained as per norms.

d. Candidates and parents are advised to bring their own water bottle and a sanitizer bottle.

e. Candidate and parent shall have to fill up Self Declaration Form (Undertaking) at the time of

entering into the college at the Security Gate stating that they are not COVID-19 positive.

6. Candidate and parent, in case, experiencing symptoms of cough, cold, fever etc.,/under home

quarantine/isolation and have tested COVID-19 positive, should necessarily contact the Director

for guidelines on completing the admission process.

7. Hostel facility is available as per University of Rajasthan norms.

These provisional admissions are being made through Spot Admissions as per the rules and guidelines issued by University of Rajasthan. Any information furnished in the application if found incorrect or false on scrutiny, will render the admission liable for cancellation.
