General Safety Guidelines

The unit is intended to be located in RAL (restricted access location ) - access is allowed toservice personnel only.

The unit is required to be connected to earthing of building installation. Grounding isprovided via the OMT connector trough the antenna. All 8 screws connecting the unit to theOMT are to be securely tightened. Installer shall verify that antenna is bonded to buildinginstallation ground.

The common or earthed side of the circuit is connected to a screen of the coax cable, and thescreen of the coax cable is intended to be earthed in the building installation.

For AC Supply use local agency approved cable that complies with temperature and powerrating.

Power cable-connection should be carried out only by authorized personnel as stated by thelocal agency laws. Always use the correct power as labeled on the BUC.

DC Supply:• Use 48V power supply (60V max) with output limitation of 5A, which complies with

CE safety approval.• Use local agency approved cable that complies with temperature and power rating.

AC Supply: use with a 10 A fuse/circuit-breaker.Always observe standard safety precautions during installation, operation andmaintenance of this product.
