coating or underpainting and to prepare this ground forthe first paint layer.

2) Use to isolate the layers of a painting and make themmore receptive to additional paint.

3) Before resuming work on a dry painting, use SPRAY VARto bring out a uniform wet appearance on dull, dried-inflat places for accurate color comparison.

RETOUCH SPRAY VAR is not a final picture varnish, but maybe used as a temporary protection to show paintings beforethey are completely dry.

Always apply varnish at room temperature. To avoid bloom,never apply under humid conditions. Bloom is a foggy,whitish effect caused by condensation of moisture beingtrapped in the coating as it dries and can be removed byrespraying under recommended conditions.
