If what I am about to say offends you, I hope you can get over it. It is time we followers of Christ up and say something before it is too late! There are people who want to take Christ out of Christmas because it might offend someone. Well, how about all of the Christians? You are offending us because you are taking our Christ out of Christmas. Christ is Christmas! If you aren’t celebrating Christ then why are you celebrating? Christmas is about the birth of our savior! Christmas is one of a few holidays left that celebrate “My” Christ! Leave “My” holiday alone! And tell everyone Merry Christmas, not Happy Holidays!

What Child is this, who laid to rest,On Mary’s lap is sleeping?

Whom angels greet with anthems sweetWhile shepherds watch are keeping?

This, this is Christ the KingWhom shepherds guard and angels sing.

Haste, haste to bring Him laud,The Babe, the Son of Mary.

IS EVERYTHING EXPENSIVE OR

AM I JUST POOR?

GrowinG olderAs we grow older, and hence wiser, we slowly realize that wearing a $300.00 or $30.00 watch both tell the same time.Whether we carry a $300 or $30.00 wallet/handbag - the amount of money inside is the same.Whether we drink a bottle of $30 or $3.00 wine - the hang over is the same;Whether the house we live in is 300 or 3000 sq.ft. - the loneliness is the same. You will realize, your true inner happiness does not come from the material things of this world.Whether you fly first or economy class, if the plane goes down - you go down with it.Therefore..I hope you realize, when you have mates, buddies and old friends, brothers and sis-ters, who you chat with, laugh with, talk with, have sing songs with, talk about north-south-east-west or heaven & earth, .... That is true happiness!!!1. Don't educate your children to be rich, educate them to be happy.

And when they grow up they will know the value of things not the price.2. Eat your food as your medi-cines, otherwise you have to eat medicines as your food.3. The One who loves you will never leave you because even if there are 100 reasons to give up he or she will find one reason to hold on.4. There is a big difference between a human being and being human. Only a few really under-stand it.5. You are loved when you are born. You will be loved when you die. In between, you have to man-age! If you just want to walk fast, walk alone! But if you want to walk far, walk together!

New SS CHECKSThe Social Security check is now (or soon will be) referred to as a * Federal Benefit Payment* This puts all us older folks in the “Food Stamp/EBT card group.” The government is now referring to our Social Security checks as a “Federal Benefit Payment.” This isn’t a benefit. It is our money paid out of our Earned income! Not only did we all contribute to Social Security but our Employers did too. It totaled 15% of our income before taxes.

If you averaged $30K per year over your working life, that’s close to $180,000 invested in Social Security. If you calculate the future value of your monthly investment in Social Security ($375/month, including both you and your employer contri-butions) At a meager 1% interest rate compounded monthly, after 40 years of working You’d have more than $1.3+ million dollars saved! This is your personal investment.

Upon retirement, if you took out only 3% per year, you’d receive $39,318 per year, or $3,277 per month. That’s almost three times more than today’s average Social Security benefit Of $1,230 per month, according to the Social Security Administration.

And your retirement fund would last more than 33 years (until you’re 98 if you retire at age 65)! I can only imagine how much better most average-income people could live in retirement if our government had just invested our money in low-risk interest-earning accounts.

Instead, the folks in Washington pulled off a bigger *Ponzi scheme* than Bernie Madoff ever did. They took our money and used it elsewhere. They forgot (oh yes, they knew) that it was OUR money they were taking. They didn’t have a referendum to ask us if we wanted to lend the money to

them. And they didn’t pay interest on the debt they assumed. And recently they’ve told us that the money won’t support us for very much longer. (Isn’t it funny that they NEVER say this about welfare payments?)

But is it our fault they misused our investments? And now, to add insult to injury, they’re calling it a *benefit*, as if we never worked to earn every penny of it. Just because they bor-rowed the money doesn’t mean that our investments were a charity!

Let’s take a stand. We have earned our right to Social Security and Medicare. Demand that our legislators bring some sense into our government. Find a way to keep Social Security and Medicare going for the sake of that 92% of our population who need it. Then call it what it is: Our Earned Retirement Income.

thoUGhtS For the DAY: If God had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it.

If He had a wallet, your picture would be in it.He sends you flowers every spring.

He sends you a sunrise every morning.Face it, friend - He is crazy about you!

If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.

A young and successful exec-utive was traveling down a neighborhood street, going a bit too fast in his new Jaguar. He was watching for kids dart-ing out from between cars and slowed down when he thought he saw something.

As his car passed, no chil-dren appeared. Instead, a brick smashed into the Jag’s side door! He slammed on the brakes and backed the Jag back to the spot where the brick had been thrown.

The angry driver then jumped out of the car, grabbed the nearest kid and pushed him up against a parked car shout-ing, ‘What was that all about and who are you? Just what the heck are you doing? That’s a new car and that brick you threw is going to cost a lot of money. Why did you do it?

The young boy was apologetic. ‘Please, mister... please, I’m

sorry but I didn’t know what else to do,’ He pleaded. ‘I threw the brick because no one else would stop...’ With tears drip-ping down his face and off his chin, the youth pointed to a spot just around a parked car. ‘It’s my brother, ‘he said ‘He rolled off the curb and fell out of his wheelchair and I can’t lift him

up’ Now sobbing, the boy asked the stunned executive, ‘Would you please help me get him back into his wheelchair? He’s hurt and he’s too heavy for me.’

Moved beyond words, the driver tried to swallow the rapidly swelling lump in his throat.. He hurriedly lifted the handicapped boy back into the wheelchair,

then took out a linen handker-chief and dabbed at the fresh scrapes and cuts. A quick look told him everything was going to be okay. ‘Thank you and may God bless you,’ the grate-ful child told the stranger.

Too shook up for words, the man simply watched the boy push his wheelchair-bound brother down the sidewalk toward their home..

It was a long, slow walk back to the Jaguar. The damage was very noticeable, but the driver never bothered to repair the dented side door. He kept the dent there to remind him of this message: ‘Don’t go through life so fast that someone has to throw a brick at you to get your attention!’ God whispers in our souls and speaks to our hearts. Sometimes when we don’t have time to listen, He has to throw a brick at us. It’s our choice to listen or not.

THe BriCKA father takes his son into the forest, blindfolds him and leaves him alone. He is required to sit on a stump the whole night and not remove the blindfold until the rays of the morn-ing sun shine through it. He cannot cry out for help to anyone. Once he survives the night, he is a MAN. He cannot tell the other boys of this experience, because each lad must come into manhood on his own.

The boy is naturally terrified. He can hear all kinds of noises. Wild beasts must surely be an around him. Maybe even some human might do him harm. The wind blew the grass and earth, and shook his stump, but he sat stoically, never

removing the blindfold. It would be the only way he could become a man!

Finally after a horrific night the sun appeared and he removed his blind-fold. It was then that he discovered his father sitting on the stump next to him. He had been at watch the entire night protecting his son from harm.

We too are never alone. Even when we don’t know it, God is watching over us, sitting on the stump beside us. When trouble comes, all we have to do is reach out to Him. Moral of the story: Just because you can’t see God, doesn’t mean He is not there. “For we walk by faith not by sight!!!

“Separation of Powers” IS in the constitution.“Separation of church and state” IS NOT.

HILLARY CLINTONShe might be one of the most famous democrats, but Hillary Clinton wasn't always on the left side of the aisle. She started off following in the footsteps of her father and her high school history teacher who were both conservatives. She was a self-proclaimed Goldwater Girl, as she put it, "right down to my cowgirl outfit and straw cowboy hat emblazoned with the slogan 'AuH2O.'" So then maybe it won't surprise you to learn that in Freshman year of college, she was president of the Wellesley Young Republicans Club. While at school though, her ideas changed. She campaigned for Eugene McCarthy and organized teach-ins on the Vietnam War.

When I was a kid I couldn’t understand why Eisenhower was so popular. Maybe this will explain why.

General Eisenhower warned us. It is a matter of his-tory that when the Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces, General Dwight Eisenhower, found the vic-tims of the death camps he ordered all possible pho-tographs to be taken, and for the German people from surrounding villages to be ushered through the camps and even made to bury the dead. He did this because he said in words to this effect: Get it all on record now, get the films, get the witnesses because some-where down the road of his-tory some bastard will get up and say that this never happened.

This week, the UK debat-ed whether to remove The Holocaust from its school curriculum because it offends the Muslim popula-tion which claims it never occurred. It is not removed as yet... However, this is a frightening portent of the fear that is gripping the world and how easily each country is giving into it. It is now more than 60 years after the Second World War in Europe ended.

This is being told as a memorial, in memory of the six million Jews, 20 million Russians, 10 mil-lion Christians, and 1,900 Catholic priests who were murdered, raped, burned, starved, beaten, experi-mented on and humiliated while many in the world looked the other way!

Now, more than ever, with Iran, among others, claim-ing the Holocaust to be a myth, it is imperative to make sure the world never forgets. How many years will it be before the attack on the World Trade Center ‘NEVER HAPPENED’, because it offends some Muslim???

The war started in the 7th century and lasted through the 17th. I would contend it never stopped but historically the facts below are correct.

This is why I choke when I hear someone say we will defeat or contain these Islamic terrorists in a few years or even 30 years as recently stated by Leon Panetta.

If the latest batch of mur-ders, beheadings, and killing of innocent Christians has shocked you, maybe you should read this compilation of historical facts about the hatred of Muslims. This is all factually (and historically) correct - and verifiable:

In 732 AD the Muslim Army which was moving on Paris was defeated and turned back at Tours, France, by Charles Martell.

In 1571 AD the Muslim Army/ Navy was defeated by the Italians and Austrians as they tried to cross the Mediterranean to attack southern Europe in the Battle of Lapanto.

In 1683 AD the Turkish Muslim Army, attacking Eastern Europe, was final-ly defeated in the Battle of Vienna by German and Polish Christian Armies.

...this crap has been going on for 1,400 years and half of the politicians don't even know it. If these battles had not been won we might be speaking Arabic and Christianity could be non-existent; Judaism certainly would be...

And let us not forget that Hitler was an admirer of Islam and that the Mufti of Jerusalem was Hitler's guest in Berlin and raised Bosnian Muslim SS Divisions: the 13th and 21st Waffen SS Divisions who killed Jews, Russians, Gypsies, and any other subhumans."

Reflecting: A lot of Canadian & Americans have become so insulated from reality that they imagine that America can suffer defeat without any inconvenience to them-selves. Pause a moment, reflect back. These events are actual events from his-

tory. They really happened! Do you remember?

1. In 1968, Bobby Kennedy was shot and killed by a Muslim male.

2. In 1972 at the Munich Olympics, athletes were kid-napped and massacred by Muslim males.

3. In 1972 a Pan Am 747 was hijacked and eventually diverted to Cairo where a fuse was lit on final approach. It was blown up, shortly after landing, by Muslim males.

4. In 1973 a Pan Am 707 was destroyed in Rome, with 33 people killed, when it was attacked with grenades by Muslim males.

5. In 1979, the US embassy in Iran was taken over by Muslim males.

6. During the 1980's a num-ber of Americans were kidnapped in Lebanon by Muslim males.

7. In 1983, the US Marine barracks in Beirut was blown up by Muslim males.

8. In 1985, the cruise ship Achille Lauro was hijacked and a 70-year-old American passenger was murdered and thrown overboard in his wheelchair by Muslim males.

9. In 1985, TWA flight 847 was hijacked at Athens, and a US Navy diver trying to rescue passengers was mur-dered by Muslim males.

10. In 1988, Pan Am Flight 103 was bombed by Muslim males.

11. In 1993, the World Trade Center was bombed the first time by Muslim males.

12. In 1998, the US embas-sies in Kenya and Tanzania were bombed by Muslim males.

13. On 9/11/01, four air-liners were hijacked; two were used as missiles to take down the World Trade Centers and of the remaining two, one crashed into the US Pentagon and the other was diverted and crashed by the passengers. Thousands of people were killed by Muslim males.

14. In 2002, the United States fought a war in Afghanistan against Muslim males.

15. In 2002, reporter Daniel Pearl was kidnapped and beheaded by---you guessed it was a Muslim male. (Plus two other American journal-ists were just beheaded)

16. In 2013, the Boston Marathon Bombing resulted in 4 innocent people includ-ing a child killed, 264 injured by Muslim males.

In 2014 Canada was attacked in Québec and Ottawa No, I really don't see a pattern here to justify pro-filing, do you? So, to ensure we Canadian & Americans never offend anyone, particu-larly fanatics intent on killing us, airport security screeners will no longer be allowed to profile certain people.

So, ask yourself "Just how stupid are we???" Absolutely No Profiling! They must conduct random searches of 80-year-old women, little kids, airline pilots with proper identification, secret agents who are members of the President's security detail, 85-year-old Congressmen with metal hips, and Medal of Honor winner and former governor Joe Foss, but leave Muslim males alone lest they be guilty of profiling.

Ask yourself: "Just how stupid are we?" Have the Canadian & American people com-pletely lost their minds or just their Power of Reason???

Let's send this to as many people as we can so that the Gloria Alreds and other stupid attorneys, along with Federal Justices, that want to thwart common sense, feel ashamed of themselves if they have any such sense.

As the writer of the award-winning story 'Forrest Gump" aptly put it, 'Stupid Is as Stupid Does.'

Opportunity that you have to send this to a friend or media outlet... Do It! OR SIT BACK, JUST KEEP GRIPING, AND DO NOTHING. WAKE UP, Canada & AMERICA & Britain AND EUROPE!! Wake up!!

We, the StUPiD

CANE CREEK COMMUNITY CLUBTHE AGEE COMMUNITY CLUB

The Agee Community Club met at the Bread Company on November 13, 2015 for the clubs 83rd anniversary. The table was decorated in the club colors of blue and silver, balloons and items were given to the ladies for our celebration. Club president Cathy Womack was this months hostess, who opened the meeting with the ladies repeating the club motto, “When the heart is full of love, the world is full of beauty”.

Nadine Johnson gave the invocation, and devotional from Colossians 3:1-3. Roll call was answered with, “What you’ve enjoyed about our club”. Jeanie Figgins read the secretary and treasur-ers reports. Old business was the elec-tion of officers from last month who have taken office this month. Figgins also handed out the new year books to members for the upcoming year. The club history and by laws were read. Dues were collected, and needlework was done and voted on. First place winner was Womack who made a corsage for the ladies. Second place

winner was Johnson who had made a stuffed toy out of fabric circles.

Guest speaker was Sabrena Holcomb who spoke about the projects at Cape Arrowhead, what they do for veterans and those with disabilities. It was very interesting for everyone to learn how things have evolved into seven differ-ent programs. Donations of items that can be used in the art studio was given to Sabrena for the art program.

Johnson handed out copies of the Black River Times, a page to color with a turkey on it, and information about growing an Amaryllis. Figgins read a poem by retired club member Orel Smith that is titled, “Season’s Gifts”. Hostess for December will be Nadine Johnson. Guests were Sabrena Holcomb and Carolyn Smith. Smith won the door prize.

The ladies dismissed with repeating the club collect, “Be still and know that I am God” Psalms 46:10. Jeanie Figgins, 785-1182

Wilma Rains was hostess for our November 11th club meet-ing in her home with 7 mem-bers present.

Nancy Wujcik, President called the meeting to order at 11a.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance to our flag. We answered roll call with some-thing I’m thankful for.

The thought for the day was “Anyone who stops learning is old, whether twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learn-ing stays young. The greatest thing you can do is keep your mind young.” Mark Twain

Wilma’s devotional was about our Veterans who get forgot-ten, “See the Invisible Ones.”

The famous Missourian Ma-rie chose for the program was Samuel Clemens – we know as Mark Twain. We all remember his books of Tom Sawyer & Huck Finn. Mark Twain was born 11-30-1835 at Florida, MO, and the sixth child in the family. They moved to Hanni-bal, MO when he was 4 years old. He died 4-21-1910.

In our business meeting, Ma-rie Boxx gave the secretary’s

report and Wilma Rains gave the treasurer’s report with a balance of $8.85. Both reports were approved as read.

November is election time for officers for next year. New officers are: President – Nancy WujcikTreasurer – Wilma Rains Vice President – Glenda PhillipsSecretary – Irma Epps Song & game leaders – Jean Hawkins & Marie BoxxSunshine chair person – Ruth Anderson

This month we brought our lap robes to be given to area nurs-ing homes and wheel chair patients. We had 28 lap robes to deliver to Keeney’s Country Home, Swift Creek Nursing Home and other individuals.

Wilma served a delicious lunch and we visited until time to dismiss. She also showed two very pretty quilt tops she has made.

Our December 9th meeting will be at Twin Towers with Ruth Anderson as hostess. Nancy Wujcik will bring the program and roll call will be to tell about a certain Christmas gift you have received.

Merry Christmas

No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.

citiZenShiP AnD Anchor BABieSIllegal or undocumented aliens apprehended are by law subject to deportation.

On the other hand, a baby born to these aliens while on U.S. soil is automati-cally a citizen. Parents of these so called anchor babies qualify for a smor-gasbord of welfare ben-efits, including free medi-cal care courtesy of the American taxpayer.

But the story doesn’t end there. Unlike other illegals, parents of these children are normally granted instant residency allowing them to remain anchored in the country. Thus the genesis for euphemism “anchor babies,” Seeking to address the issue of instant citizenship, leg-islation has in the past introduced in Congress that sought to amend the Immigration and Act by denying citizenship at birth to children born in the United States of parents who are not citizens or permanent resident aliens.

Typical of the many pro-posals introduced over the years was House Joint Resolution 698 introduced by Nathan Deal (R-Ga.) in 2005. HJR 698 denied citi-zenship to any child born in the United States unless at least one of the parents is either a citizen or an alien who has been admitted for permanent residence. This same stipulation was to apply to children born out of wedlock.

While many applauded Deal’s legislation oth-ers suggested then and believe today that it is un-constitutional. They point to what appears to be unam-biguous language of the Constitution’s Fourteenth Amendment to make their case.

The relevant part of that amendment states “All persons born or natural-ized in the United States and subject to the juris-diction thereof, are citi-zens of the United States.” Others point to the words

“subject to the jurisdic-tion thereof” to make the case that framers clearly provided an exception to what appears to be a carte blanche command.

Writing in the Journal of Law & Public Policy( Spring 1999, Vol. 22, Number 2, Pg. 465) Charles Wood observed that while the meaning of the Citizenship Clause is not clear on its face, the clause certainly provides that some per-sons born in the United States are not citizens, namely those who at birth are not subject to the juris-diction of the United States such as diplomats of other nations who have legal or factual immunity from local law.

Most relevant to our cur-rent situation vis-a-vis illegal aliens is the point made by Mr. Wood wherein he noted that “in the com-mon law the allegiance of the parents were imput-ed to the child born on the soverign’s territory.” In

other words, if there is no allegiance to the United States by the newborns parents, the same would be said of the child. Thus no citizenship would be recognized even if the child was born on American soil.

This issue and salient questions pertaining to the illegal aliens and citizen-ship need to be addressed.

The legislation introduced by Deal in 2005 should be resurrected, reintroduced, and debated, with a vote taken before Congress. If it should pass and later be declared unconstitutional and then a constitutional amendment should be pur-sued until ratification by the requisite number of states is achieved.

Today, as never before, the question of citizenship is an integral part of the illegal immigration delem-ma facing our nation and needs to be addressed by Congress-NOW

THE OLD MAN AND OBAMAOne rainy day in January, 2017, an old man approaches the White House from across Pennsylvania Avenue where he’d been sitting on a park bench. He speaks to the U.S. Marine standing guard and says, “I would like to go in and meet with President Obama.” The Marine looks at the man and says, “Sir, Mr. Obama is no longer President and no lon-ger resides here.” The old man says, “Okay,” and walks away.

The following day the same man approaches the White House and says to the same Marine, “I would like to go in and meet with President Obama.” The Marine again tells the man, “Sir, as I said yesterday, Mr. Obama is no longer President and no longer resides here.” The man thanks

him and again just walks away.

The third day the same man approaches the White House and speaks to the very same U.S. Marine, saying, “I would like to go in and meet with President Obama.” The Marine, understandably agi-tated at this point, looks at the man and says, “Sir, this is the third day in a row you have been here asking to speak to Mr. Obama. I’ve told you already that Mr. Obama is no longer the President and no longer resides here. Don’t you understand?”

The old man looks at the Marine and says,“Oh, I under-stand. I just love hearing it.” The Marine snaps to attention, salutes, and says, “See you tomorrow, Sir!”

The Purpose Of The United States

Constitution Is To Limit The Power

Of The Federal

Government, Not The

American People

Stated way back in 1931 and it SayS it all!

“You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, anoth-er person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.” ~Dr. Adrian Rogers, 1931

THE TEN STRONGEST REASONS TO VOTEI vote because I love the fact that I can now marry whatever I want. I’ve decided to marry my German Shepherd.I vote because I believe oil compa-nies’ profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene, but the government taxing the same gallon at 15% isn’t.I vote because I believe the govern-ment will do a better job of spend-ing the money I earn than I would.I vote because Freedom of Speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.I vote because I’m way too irre-sponsible to own a gun, and I know that my local police are all I need

to protect me from murderers and thieves. I am also thankful that we have a 911 service that gets police to your home in order to identify your body after a home invasion.I vote because I’m not concerned about millions of babies being aborted so long as we keep all death row inmates alive and comfy.I vote because I think illegal aliens have a right to free health care, edu-cation and Social Security benefits, and we should take away Social Security from those who paid into it.I vote because I believe that busi-nesses should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They

need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redis-tribution as the Democrat Party sees fit.I vote because I believe liberal judg-es need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit fringe kooks who would never get their agendas past the voters. And the #1 reason I vote is because I think it’s better to pay $$billions$$ for oil to people who hate us, but not drill our own because it might upset some endangered beetle, gopher or fish here in America. We don’t care about the beetles, gophers or fish in those other coun-tries.
