Daniel Berhane, MD Dr. Daniel Berhane is a new

member of the Hospitalist team at Atlan-

tic General Hospital in Berlin, MD. He

graduated from Addis Ababa Medical

Facility in Ethiopia and completed his

residency in internal medicine at Prince

George’s Hospital Center, an affiliate of

the University of Maryland. He is board

certified in internal medicine.

Robert A. Coker, DO Dr. Robert A. Coker is a Hos-

pitalist at Peninsula Regional Medical

Center.

A native of New York City, Dr.

Coker earned his MD at the University

of Medicine & Dentistry of NJ in Strat-

ford, NJ and completed his residency

and internship there at Kennedy Memorial Hospital. He is

Roy Cragway, MD Dr. Roy Cragway of Berlin is a

family practice physician at Atlantic

ImediCare on 10th St. in Ocean City and

affiliated with Atlantic General Hos-

pital. He moved to the Shore in 1994.

A native of Baltimore, he

earned his bachelor’s degree at Morgan

State University and his medical degree at the University of

team. During his orthopedic surgery

orthopedic surgeon for the NFL Pittsburgh Steelers Football

Courtney A. Harris, MD Dr. Courtney A. Harris is an

Anesthesiologist at Peninsula Regional

Medical Center in Salisbury. He is a

graduate of Jackson State U. Medical

School in Mississippi who interned at

Washington U. School of Medicine/

Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis

where he also did his residency.

Christjon J. Huddleston, MD Dr. Christjon J. Huddleston is the senior partner of

Huddleston & DiNardo, MD, PA and the Medical Director

at UMES. His private Internal Medicine

practice, founded in 1986, is located at

Suite 103, 106 Milford St. in Salisbury.

A native of Silver Spring, MD,

Dr. Huddleston earned his medical

degree at the University of Maryland

School of Medicine in Baltimore. He

completed his residency at Union

Memorial Hospital in Baltimore and

worked at Bon Secour Hospital there. He moved to the

Shore in 1983 to work at McCready Hospital in Crisfield.

Dr. Huddleston is a member of the Board of Trus-

tees at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. He was the Del-

marva African American Pride Magazine Outstanding

Achiever for the Juneteenth 2013 issue.

Rachel Jeanty, MD Dr. Rachel Jeanty was recently

granted active staff membership with

privileges in the Department of Medi-

cine, in the specialty of Internal Medi-

cine, at Peninsula Regional Medical Cen-

ter.

Dr. Jeanty received her medical

degree from Howard U. College of Med-

icine in Washington, DC, and completed a residency at

Howard University Hospital. She is board-certified in

Internal Medicine and has joined the Peninsula Regional

Medical Group Hospitalist Service.

Nusirat A. Jinadu, MD Dr. Nusirat A. Jinadu was re-

cently granted active staff membership

with clinical and admitting privileges in

the Department of Medicine at Peninsu-

la Regional Medical Center. She joins

the PRMC Hospitalist group.

Jinadu received her medical

degree from the University of Lagos

College of Medicine in Lagos, Nigeria. She completed a

residency and fellowship in nephrology at Henry Ford Hos-

pital in Detroit. Jinadu completed a second fellowship in

transplant nephrology at the University of Illinois Hospital

in Chicago. She is board-certified in nephrology and inter-

nal medicine.

Aronda Jones, DDS Dr. Aronda Jones opened her general Dentistry

practice recently at 1300 S. Division St., in Salisbury, MD.

She specializes in Facelift Reconstruc-

tive and Implant Dentistry.

Dr. Jones is a retired US Air

Force Lt. Colonel. She has served the

public and federal government, includ-

ing the Navy, Air Force and Veterans

Administration for over 25 years. She

completed her residency at Wilford Hall

Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas.

Dr. Jones is a member of the American Academy of Cos-

metic Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry,

American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Acad-

emy of Facial Esthetics, International Academy of Mini

Dental Implants, and the national, state, and local Dental

Societies.

Doreen A. Kyere, MD, MPH Dr. Doreen A. Kyere is a doc-

Dr. Kyere received her medical

Benhur B. Mohammed, MD Dr. Benhur B. Mohammed is

Emmanuel N. Nsah, MD Dr. Emmnuel N. Nsah is an associate at Peninsula

A native of Cameroon, Dr.

After that, he completed residences at New York Univer-

sity Medical College in NY City and St. Agnes Hospital in

Baltimore. Then he returned to Johns Hopkins University.

Lisa D. Patrick, DDS Dr. Lisa D. Patrick is a dentist

whose practice is Affordable Dentures

located at 601 East Naylor Mill Rd.,

Suite E, in Mill Pond Village Plaza,

Salisbury, MD. She started as an associ-

ate there in 2005 and acquired the prac-

tice in 2007. She received her BS De-

gree at Howard U. and earned her Den-

A native of Lynchburg, VA, Dr. Patrick resides in

Clinton, Maryland.

Andy H. Pierre, MD Dr. Andy H. Pierre is a Neuro-

surgeon who joined Dr. Julius Zant at

Peninsula Neurosurgical Associates, PA

in Salisbury in 2001. The firm became a

part of Peninsula Regional Health Sys-

tems in 2010.

Dr. Pierre is from upstate New

York and received his medical degree

from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and

Dentistry. He completed his internship and residency at

Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York.

Monique E. Spencer, MD Dr. Spencer is a doctor in the

Obstetrics and Gynecology Department

of Three Lower Counties Communi-

ty Services, Inc. She rotates between the

three OB/GYN offices in Salisbury and

Princess Anne.

Jimmy D. Taylor, MD Dr. Jimmy D. Taylor is a he-

Julius D. Zant, MD Dr. Julius D. Zant recently re-

tired as a Neurosurgeon at Peninsula

Neurosurgery of Peninsula Regional

Medical Group. The office is located

at 540 Snow Hill Rd. in Salisbury. He

also was a part of Peninsula Regional

Medical Center’s Neurosurgery Division

and has been president of the PRMC

medical staff.

Dr. Zant moved to Salisbury in 1989 to head the

Division of Neurosurgery at PRMC. He is Board Certified

in California, New York, and Maryland.

A native of Pasadena, Maryland, Dr. Zant earned

his medical degree from the University of MD School of

Medicine in Baltimore where he did his internship. He has

also practiced in Syracuse and Los Angeles.

Felix D. Barnett, MD Dr. Felix Barnett is an Anesthe-

siologist at Chester Regional Medical

Center in Chester, MD on Kent Island.

He specializes in Anesthesiology and

Pain Management and is Board certified

in both. He has been practicing since

1981 and has practiced on the Eastern

Shore since 1995. He also practices in

Silver Spring, Maryland.

Dr. Barnett received his medical degree from the

University of Michigan and completed his internship at

Providence Hospital in Michigan.

Marilyn B. Benoit, MD Dr. Marilyn Benoit is a Psychiatrist

who opened the first private clinic on

the Eastern Shore to offer Transcranial

Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), a revolu-

tionary new treatment for depression.

She opened Eastern Shore Transcranial

Magnetic Stimulation & Behavioral

Health Treatment Center in 2009 in Suite 60 at 203

Romancoke Road in Stevensville, Maryland.

Dr. Benoit completed medical school and her resi-

dency at Georgetown U. Medical School. She has served as

a psychiatry professor at both Howard U. Medical Center

and the Children's National Medical Center of

George Washington University. She is Board certified in

adult as well as child and adolescent psychiatry. She is a

Life Fellow and Past President of the American Academy

of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and a Life Member of

the American Psychiatric Association.

Gina Exantus-Bernard, MD, FAAP Dr. Gina Exantus Bernard, MD, FAAP is a pediatri-

Shore Regional Health. She practices

Manjula Borge, MD Dr. Manjula Borge is a physi-

and Palliative Medicine.

lege of Medicine, Dr. Mary DeShields

Dion Edgerson-George, MD Dr. Deon Edgerson-George opened a primary care

Dr. Edgerson-George is a grad-

uate of the Louisiana Scholars' College

at Northwestern State University in

Funlola Ibimina Famuyiwa, MD Dr. Funlola Ibimina Famuyi-

Isaya Adala Okwiya, MD Dr. Isaya Adala Okwiya is a

physician in the Emergency Department

of Shore Health in Easton. He is a Fam-

ily Medicine practitioner.

Dr. Okwiya received his medi-

cal degree from St. George's University

School of Medicine on the Caribbean

Island of Grenada. He completed his

residency at West Virginia University

Taiwo M. Osunkoya, DDS Dr. Taiwo Mary Osunkoya is a Dentist in private

practice in Denton, MD. She opened her

Family Dentistry practice there four

years ago. Her office is at 414 North 6th

Street. She also has an office in Dover,

Delaware.

A native of Nigeria, Dr.

Osunkoya graduated from the University

of Lagos there and earned her Dental

degree at the University of Pennsylvania

Dental School. She resides in Wyoming, DE with her hus-

band, Dr. Abimbola O. Osunkoya, who is a Physician, and

Melvin S. Rapelyea, MD Dr. Melvin S. Rapelyea is Radi-

ologist at University of Maryland Shore

Health who specializes in diagnostic

radiology. He practices in the Easton

and Chestertown hospitals.

Dr. Rapelyea received medical

degree from the University of Rochester

School of Medicine and Dentistry. He

completed his residency at North Shore University Hospital

- Cornell in New York.

Leland D. Spencer, MD, MPH

Dr. Spencer is the Health Officer for both the Caro-

line County and Kent County Health

Departments. He has served in that ca-

pacity since 2004 and is the only Black

health officer on the Shore. He is also

the only health officer in the State head-

ing two health departments.

Dr. Spencer attended Tennes-

see State U. and completed his under-

grad studies at the U. of Maryland Col-

lege Park where he also earned his medical degree. He

practiced as an Ob/Gyn prior to public service.

Austin C. Tagbo, MD

Dr. Austin Tagbo is a physician at Shore Hospital-

ists Associates and a Hospitalists at Shore Health at Easton

Memorial Hospital. He practices internal

medicine. He came to Shore Health from

Mid Coast Health Services in Bruns-

wick, Maine where he was also a Hospi-

talists.

Dr. Tagbo is a graduate of the

University of Lagos, College of Medi-

cine in Lagos, Nigeria who completed

his residency at the University of Con-

necticut School of Internal Medicine. He is certified by the

American Board of Internal Medicine. He is married to Dr.

Ijeoma Tagbo, who runs a dental practice in Easton.

Ijeoma Tagbo, DDS

Dr. Ijeoma Tagbo opened her dental practice,

Shore Family Dentistry, at 29466 Pintail Dr. in Easton, MD

two years ago. She received her degree as a Doctor of Den-

tal Medicine at the Goldman School of

Dentistry at Boston University and

moved to Hartford, CT to complete a

General Residency Program at St.

Francis Hospital. She then went on to

complete an advanced fellowship pro-

gram at Temple University before set-

tling into practice, initially in Maine. Dr.

Tagbo is a member of several prestig-

ious organizations, and was awarded a

Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2010.

Sheena Ames, PA Sheena Ames is a Physician

Assistant who is a part of the Dr. Alon

Davis Family Practice in Salisbury. She

graduated from the University of Mary-

land Eastern Shore in December 2010,

Olutoyin A. Adedapo, RP Olutoyin A. Adedapo is a

Registered Pharmacist who owns and

operates DAPO Pharmacy, Inc. in

Cambridge. He founded the 300 Wash-

ington St. drugstore in 1995.

A native of Nigeria, Adedapo

moved to the US in 1983. He stud-

ied at Southeastern University and

graduated from Howard University

School of Pharmacy; both in Washington, DC. He and his

wife, Josephine, have five children. She works with him at

the Pharmacy.

Marsha E. Beckett, LCPC Somerset County native Marsha E. Beckett is the

owner and Clinical Director of Advanced Behavioral

Health Services, located at 110 West

Church Street, Suite C, Salisbury,

MD. She specializes in treating stress,

anger management, grief, parenting,

depression, anxiety, bipolar and other

diagnoses.

Glenwood C. Brooks, Jr., Ph.D. Dr. Glenwood C. Brooks, Jr. is a Neuropsycholo-

gist at HealthSouth Chesapeake Rehabilitation Hospital in

Salisbury. He has practiced there and

at Peninsula Regional Medical Center

since 1994. His specialty is Adjust-

ments to Health Problems.

Born in Philadelphia, Dr.

Brooks graduated from Lincoln U. in

Pennsylvania and earned his PhD

from the University of Maryland, Col-

lege Park. He has a post doctorate

fellowship in Neuropsychology and

holds certificates in psycho-pharmacology, hypnotherapy,

and pain management. He is a member of the American

Raymond L. Blakely, PhD-PT Dr. Raymond Blakely is a professor at UMES and

the chair of its Department of Physi-

cal Therapy in the School of Health &

Professions. The Department was es-

tablished under his directorship in

1981. It has grown under his leader-

ship to become accredited and include

a doctoral program.

Dr. Blakely has 29 years of

Physical Therapy Program administra-

tion experience, 40 years of experience in clinical practice,

and 36 years of teaching experience.

A graduate of Ohio State U. with a BS Degree in

Zoology, Dr. Blakely earned his M.Ed. Degree in Educa-

tional Guidance & Counseling at Xavier U. and his MA

Teresa Campos, PA-C Teresa Campos is a Physician

Sharone Grant, RN Sharone V. Grant is a Regis-

tered Nurse and she has been Director

of Student Health Services at the Uni-

versity of Maryland Eastern Shore for

the last 19 years. She has practiced

nursing at SHORE UP!, Deer’s Head

Center, and Wor-Wic Community

College.

A native of Onancock, VA,

Mrs. Grant earned her nursing degree from Howard Uni-

versity and her Masters Degree in Nursing from Salisbury

University. She is a past president of the Maryland College

Health Nurses Association and a member of Sigma Theta

Tau Honor Society.

Donnie LaRue, Pharmacy Tech Donnie LaRue is the Pharmacy Support Services

Supervisor at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salis-

bury where he has over 30 years of

service and was the 2002 Employee

of the Year. He worked his way up

from Pharmacy Tech I through Tech II

and Purchasing Coordinator. He is

also the past president of the Board of

Directors of TLC, Inc. and a member

of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.

A native of St. Mary’s City, MD, LaRue graduated from high school in Lexington Park,

MD. He attended Bowie State Teachers College (now

Bowie State U.) before joining the US military. He has

studied further at the University of Maryland College

Park.

LaTonya P. Martin, PT LaTonya P. Martin is a Physi-

cal Therapist and the co-owner of

Martin Physical Therapy, Inc. that

opened in Snow Hill over a year ago at

Ronald E. Morse, PhD, LCPC Dr. Ronald E. Morse is a National Certified Men-

tal Health Therapist licensed in the State of Maryland as a

taught and counseled at the University of Virginia, Bowie

State University and UMES. He is currently providing in-

home family therapy, online psychotherapy, and is offering

workshops/seminars in multicultural sensitivity training.

Thys Musengwa Thys Musengwa is the Clinical

Manager al the Behavioral Health pro-

gram at Peninsula Regional Medical

Center in Salisbury. He has been work-

ing at PRMC since 2006.

Equipped with formal training

in business development and admin-

istration by earning a Bachelor’s of

Science and an advanced degree in Business Administra-

tion, he went back to school in 2004 to earn a BS Degree

in Nursing from Salisbury University.

Musengwa is currently a member of various com-

mittees to include Wicomico and Summerset counties

Drug Overdose Fatality Review Boards and Crises Inter-

vention Team. He’s been featured on a couple of TV pro-

grams designed to bring awareness to mental illness and

suicide.

Tyantha G. Randall, MSW, LCS Tyantha B. Randall is a Mental Health Therapist at

Peninsula Consulting Services, Inc. in Salisbury, Mary-

land. Founded in November 2011, her

practice is located at Williamsport Cir-

cle, Suite C. Her practice provides

corporate trainings, clinical supervision

and offers a holistic approach to mental

health therapy. It specializes in treating

anxiety, depression, sleep disorders and

addiction in adolescents and adults. Randall has been an adjunct instructor at Wor-Wic

Community College since 2004 where she teaches Intro-

preparations, errands, and one-on-one homecare for the

hospitalized and home-bound. A Mary-

land native, Townsend is trained in

business administration and public rela-

tions. He also owns DelMarvelous

Occasions event planners in Salisbury

and was a board member of Holly

Community, Inc.

A salute to

Angela Blake Angela Blake is the owner of Life Solutions of

Delmarva in Salisbury and the former Eastern Shore rep-

resentative to the National Association of Social workers -

Maryland Chapter. An Eastern Shore native, Ms. Blake is

a veteran in the Social Work and counseling profession

who began working full time over a year ago to expand her

private practice that she started in 2007. Her Life Solutions of Delmarva is located in 110 W. Church Street in

Salisbury.

Life Solutions of Delmarva LLC is a mental health

private practice office offering, counseling for individual,

family, and child stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, self-

esteem, and relationship Issues. It offers problem solving,

coping, parenting, anger management, and organizational skills training in workshops, group therapy, and private

sessions.

Blake graduated from Salisbury U. in 1992 with a

Bachelors of Social Work Degree. In 2003, she graduated

from the University Of Maryland Baltimore School Of

Social Work and subsequently earned her LCSW-C desig-

nation. Since then she has worked with families and chil-

dren. After coordinating youth programs for the Salvation Army and directing the Family Center at East Salisbury

School Ms. Blake was a therapist at many local mental

health agencies both private and public.

Blake has been recognized by the Wicomico Coun-

ty Commission for Women for her efforts for the family

center's success in serving a high-risk population. She was

also recognized by then Governor Glendenning for her outstanding work in advocating for the family center's

youth and to expand services for after school care.

Ms. Blake is consistently growing and adding to

her professional experiences. She is an approved Alcohol

and Drug Counselor, an approved Clinical Supervisor,

earned an Early Childhood Mental Health Certificate from

UMB School of Medicine, and holds a Certificate for ad-

ministrating Nasal Naloxone, to finishing up a two year term as the Eastern Shore’s NASW-MD chapter repre-

sentative.

For 26 years Ms. Blake has proudly coordinated

her late brother's memorial scholarship fund and to award a

scholarship each year to a student from Kent County High

School in Mark’s name.
