Shettikere, Survey No 240, Near Kalingeri village,

Sandur(taluk), Ballari (Dist), Products are M Sand,

Aggregates, GSB (Granular Size Base), Railway Ballast

and washed M Sand etc.

to produce “M Sand and Aggregates” with total

Control of Air Pollution the covered with Zinc sheet

Shed and use of pressurized water spraying system, we

ensure minimal consumption of water for M sand

washing process by using sophisticated washing

Coarse AggregateTo achieve quality concrete, quality aggregate must be used as the base material.

When high quality aggregates are used, we will get higher strength concrete with less cement and

the nished product will have greater durability, which results in longer life, Using aggregates with

superior engineering and mechanical qualities, such as low akiness index and cubical particle shape.

Rounded aggregates because of lower surface area will have lowest water demand and also have

lowest mortar paste requirement. Hence they will result in most economical mixture for concrete grades

up to M 35.

Remark: Flaky and elongated coarse aggregate particles not only increase the water demand but also

increase the tendency of segregation. Flakiness and elongation also reduce the exural strength of

concrete. Specications by Ministry of Surface Transport restrict the combined akiness and elongation

to 30% by weight of coarse aggregates.

M SandM Sand means “Manufactured Sand”, obtained from specic natural granite (Quarry Stone) using the

State of the art European technology. The ideal shape for M sand particles is cubic, Particle shape has

become increasingly important to the concrete industry as it is the key factor inuencing quality

and therefore concrete strength, when sand particles sit together tightly, resulting in fewer voids and

need less water and less cement with higher compressive strength.

As per above table, The crusher dust is aky, elongated and angular in shape which is troublesome

in working, there is no plasticity in the mortar, which makes it even difcult for the mason to work,

whereas M Sand is cubical shape with grounded edge and superior gradation gives good plasticity

to mortar providing excellent workability.

Note:

1. From the comparison it can be observed that the nes content (ie; below 600 micron) is almost double,

which give equilibrium between Cohesive Concrete & Non Cohesive Concrete.

2. River Sand Comes Under Zone-I Where as M Sand is strictly manufactured to Zone-II.

The following tests are conducted regularly to maintain the quality of the product.

The Quarry Material has also been tested by Laboratary@Bangalore and“Civil Aid Technologies“ “Sandvik

Technology” Laboratary@Swedan, The results of test conducted on the samples supplied indicates that

this rock is found to be suitable for manufacturing And “M sand & Aggregates” as per IS 383 - 1970. “M sand &

Aggregates” Govt. of Karnataka, Department of P.W.P. & I.W.T. QA Sub Division produced at out plant, tested in

Ballari, as per IS 383 - 2016 and IS 2386 - 1963 certied the material is suitable for building construction.

PARTICLE SHAPEM Sand & Aggregates are in cubical shape as it is manufactured as per Swedish Technology of “Rock

to Rock Hit” application which is synonymous to that of Natural process of river Sand formation.
