BITSAT 2014 Notification

Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Rajasthan is to conduct Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT 2014) which is a National level, computer based online test for undergraduate admissions to its integrated first degree programmes, first semester 2014-15. The participating institutes for admissions through BITSAT 2014 are: BITS Pilani, BITS Goa, BITS Hyderabad.

Important Dates:

Last date for receipt of application: February 15, 2014 by 5 p.m. Online Slot Booking: March 1 to 20, 2014 Admit Card Download: April 15 till April 30, 2014 Examination Date: May 14 to June 1, 2014. Application for Admissions to BITS: May 20 to June 30, 2014

Eligibility Criteria:

1. The candidate should have passed the 12th class examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

2. For admission to B.Pharm, the eligibility criteria are Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 12th.

3. The candidate must have scored 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology and 60% individually in P,C, M/B in class 10+2, along with having adequate proficiency in English language.

Applying Procedure:

To fill application and apply there is only an Online option, although the fees can be paid choosing from among the various options mentioned on the official BITS website.

Application/Examination Fees

Fees for BITSAT-2014 - Rs.1900/- for male and 1400/- for female candidates.

Examination Pattern:

1. BITSAT-2014 It is a Computer-based 3 hour test, offered to candidates at dedicated centers in different cities in India and at the Dubai Campus.

2. The test will have objective type (multiple choices) questions only. 3. The syllabus and other details of the test are available in the BITSAT-2014 brochure,

BITSAT 2014 Cracking Tips

Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics must be revised starting from the basics and fundamentals from both Class 11th and 12th text books, while giving equal importance to all subjects /section.

If you feel a particular chapter to be more interesting then revise and practices it till perfection in order to increase your score.

Create handy formulae charts, model or flowchart to access it during the last days of revision.

The applicants must refer and solve previous year question papers and best model test papers to judge their strengths and weaknesses and accordingly work on it.

Practice more, to attain speed as well as accuracy while attempting questions in the exam.

Stick to NCERT Text books syllabus and do not over indulge beyond the prescribed syllabus to save time and remain focused.
