Teacher of the YearChef Carrie

Snyder-RenfroChef Carrie has taught at OCMHS for 10 years and has been recognized for the second time by her peers as TOY. Her goal is to impact school culture through service learning and globally connected projects to engage learners. This year she is a LEAD instructor for teachers with the Gear Up program. She has completed the application for district teacher of the year. Only time will tell if that honor will follow her again.

PEAK - CulinaryPEAK academy students prepare belly warming oatmeal while learning fractions, safety & sanitation and teamwork. They experimented with a recipe for chocolate oatmeal that was interesting. Oatmeal is full of fiber and filling on a cold winter day.
