Hello, my name is Destiny; I am of the Chickasaw Tribe! I speak Chickasaw! Do you speak Chickasaw?

It may seem hard to speak another language, however it really isn’t! Everyone can learn many different languages and speak all fluently! It’s super easy.

Put your thumb up to the mushroom-like cloud, if it is bigger than you -- you are within a radiation zone!

My last save was in Diamond City, after I had succeeded in stealing a Mini-Nuke from Arturo Rodriguez; he sells ammo, and weapons for you to survive in Commonwealth. My goal is to scavenge as much as I can, sell as much as I can, and buy a house in Diamond City! I can’t wait!

PEAK - Reading Increases Wage Earning Potential

According to research, reading is what increases wage potential. Grade level reading can increase your wage potential, and high school graduation. Read each day to change your future.

This week, students attending PEAK academy classes with Che Carrie and Ms. Rollins read 6 short story books. After students complete the books, they are able to take them home and add them to their family library. Students are encouraged to read these books to their brothers and sisters for entertainment and to build reading skills.

Students toured the Charles Atkins Retirement Center and interviewed residents about the center conditions. Last year, this center was investigated for an outbreak of bedbugs. One resident said that the center sprays apartments once a month now for bugs. Ms. Dorothy is a lovely resident who let students tour her apartment. She is pictured (third from the right) in the photo on the left with her mother and sisters. Dorothy who is 78 encourages other residents to not feel sorry for themselves. She volunteers by visiting nursing homes with her church group and encouraging residents to cherish every day God gives them.

CAPSTONE student Mariela Garcia is researching the conditions and care for seniors. Student visited the residents of Prairie Winds Alzheimer’s Special Care Center for breakfast. Eating can be a challenge, so special equipment has been designed to make this easier as pictured above. Some residents have to be fed, dressed and cared for because they can not any more. Alzheimer's is the most common form of dementia, a general term for memory loss and other intellectual abilities serious enough to interfere with daily life.
