Bishop Perowne Church of England College became an Academy in May 2012.

We welcome those of deep faith and those of no faith equally. A good curriculum ensures a balance of traditional academic and vocational courses which are aimed at meeting students’ needs and expectations.

The College has a strong record of outstanding success in English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities, Design Technology, Physical Education and ICT.A well-known specialist Arts’ College and West Midlands Hub School, we are rapidly developing our specialism in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics through flourishing partnerships with Worcester’s world-leading engineering company Yamazaki Mazak UK Limited and the University of Worcester.

Our excellent facilities include newly refurbished state of the art Science laboratories, a theatre, dance studio, film recording studio and a music technology suite all equipped to industry standards and a full size astro turf pitch.

We seek to engender a strong community identity at Bishop Perowne through our system of care, guidance and support, leadership responsibilities and enrichment opportunities.

Form Groups are comprised of a small number of students from each year group which makes for a family feel. Students grow personally through a wealth of leadership opportunities ranging from College and House Captains to Peer Mentors and Sports Leaders. We take every opportunity to offer vibrant experiences which enable students to extend their learning, achieve outside the classroom and to share their interests and enthusiasms. Our unique partnership with the King’s School Worcester provides bespoke Sixth Form Bursaries, Latin GCSE; debating, Science and Mathematics challenges for Gifted and Talented students. ‘Young Enterprise’ is a strength, we enjoy a wide range of trips and visits, our Arts’ enrichment is second to none and sport thrives.

In short, we do all we can to deliver a fulfilling learning experience for each individual student which gives them choice and the ability to realise their chances of success throughout their lives.
