The next key construction element is the erection of the building’s steel frame. This is planned to commence in line with the start of the school summer break and will be largely complete by the time the school returns in September 2019. This will be followed by the installation of concrete upper floors, pre-cast concrete staircases and roofing works, prior to commencing the external envelope trades.

We appreciate its difficult for you to see how the works are progressing, so we have included below some photo’s of the works in progress:

What works will happen over the next 3 months?

• Foul and storm water drainage works. • New electrical supply connections to the

school and disconnection of redundant services, which currently run across the site.

• Erection of the steel frame / metal decking. • Concrete upper floors and pre-cast concrete

stairs. • Roofing works

• Structural framing works – to support the envelope treatments.

This Site is registered with the Considerate Constructors Scheme and we aim to minimise the impact of our operations on the local community.

Should you have any queries or concerns about the construction activities, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
