BIRTH approx. 6 by 7 inches,

and one of 3 (?)"originals"...a typedtop copy and twocarbon versions all

original) was givento the town for

registration. My parents got oneof the carbons(probably the 3rdrd

one) with a wet sigand I ended up withthat one. The other

carbon (most likelythe 2nd copy) was

probably retained bythe Army hospital(which wasdemolished

sometime in the 70sor 80s). Now, afunny thing

happened at theTown Hall. For

some reasonthey re-typedthe original from theArmy

beforethey registered it intheir book. Why ? I

can only guess (andI could be wrong) it

was because myname was in bothupper and lower case.

maiden namemisspelled and it

didn't have theattending physician'swet sig...And, YES,

I didn't notice themisspell or the all

caps until I hadordered a "certified"copy from the state acouple of years

comparing "it" withmy "original

carbon" (with a wetsignature) that I had.And, I noticed thatthere was no wet
