① Begin your birch trees by drawing with a black oil pastel

② Then color in the trees using white oil pastel

③ Add some lines of different colors into the white trees to add extra interest. Don’t add too many

④ Paint in background using Primary colors only. Have fun mixing the colors to see what new colors they make!
