The daughter of this oddunion, Anite was raised like a son aboard herfather's ship living the life of a young Sea-Wolf warrior. A headstrong youth, she oftencame into conflict with her father's authorityand set out on her own as soon as sheacquired her own longship. Now she hasmade a name for herself as an infamouspirate queen, terrorizing merchant vessels up

and down the eastern seaboard. Her crewconsists primarily of Bantanu andSoutheastern Woodlands warriors, with ahandful of Skadian rogues and other riffraffshe has accrued among disreputable ports andthe sea's flotsam.

Anite is a headstrong woman withunshakable self-confidence. She is fierce inlove and war. Her catlike reflexes, dark hair,

and aggressive temperament have earned her

the title of "the She-Panther" among herenemies. She likes to dress with flare,favoring exotic clothing she acquires from thefarthest reaches of the globe, but never wearsanything that might prove cumbersome in afight or a long swim.
