Pascal joined AstraZeneca as an Executive Director and Chief ExecutiveOfficer on 1 October 2012.

A French national, Pascal joined AstraZeneca from Roche AG where heserved as Chief Operating Officer of the company’s pharmaceuticals divisionsince 2010.

Prior to that Pascal was Chief Executive Officer of Genentech, where he wascredited with leading the successful merger between the San Francisco-based biologics business and Roche. Pascal joined the pharmaceuticalindustry in 1986 and has worked in senior management roles in the US, Asiaand Europe.

Luke MielsExecutive Vice President Global Portfolio &

Product Strategy (GPPS)

Luke started his career in 1995 with AZ in Australia where he wassuccessively a Sales Representative and Product Manager for Plendil andDiprivan.

He joined Aventis in late 2000 as Marketing and Strategic Planning Manager inAustralia before being appointed Country Manager for New Zealand in 2002and subsequently Thailand the following year.

He then transferred to the USA to lead the Analytics and CommercialEffectiveness function of Aventis US. Following the Sanofi-Aventis merger heled the integration office in the US and was appointed Vice President of Salesfor Metabolism at the conclusion of the merger.

In 2006 he moved to Basel to join Roche as Head of Metabolism for GlobalMarketing. Three years later he was appointed to the role of Regional VP AsiaPacific for the Pharmaceuticals Division and joined the Leadership Team of thePharmaceuticals Division, initially based in Shanghai and more recently inSingapore.

Luke is married with three children and has an MBA from the MacquarieUniversity, Sydney and a BSc Biology from Flinders University in Adelaide.

Mark MallonExecutive Vice President, International

Mark Mallon is responsible for the growth and performance of AstraZeneca’sInternational region, which predominantly includes AstraZeneca’scommercial businesses in Asia Pacific, Russia, Latin America, the MiddleEast and Africa.

Most recently, Mark served as Regional Vice President for Asia Pacific wherehe was accountable for the growth and performance of the AstraZenecabusiness in 14 markets. While in this role Mark has also served as Presidentof AstraZeneca China, responsible for the company’s overall operations inChina and Hong Kong.

Previously, Mark led the marketing, sales and commercial operations forAstraZeneca K. K. (Japan). Since joining AstraZeneca in 1994, Mark hasheld a number of additional leadership roles, Including Marketing CompanyPresident of the AstraZeneca Italian subsidiary company and Vice Presidentof Marketing and Sales Operations of AstraZeneca’s US business. While inthe US, Mark also was a Board Member for the Christiana Care Network,one of the the largest healthcare networks on the East Coast.

Mark received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering fromthe University of Pennsylvania and an MBA in Marketing and Finance fromthe Wharton School of Business. He is based in Shanghai.

Dr Zhengbin (Bing) YaoHead of MedImmune Respiratory,

Inflammation & Autoimmune (RIA) iMed

Dr. Zhengbin (Bing) Yao joined MedImmune in 2010 as Senior VicePresident and head of the Respiratory, Inflammation, and Immunology (RIA)Innovative Medicines unit. In this role, he leads a cross-functional teamdedicated to the development of therapeutic area strategy and advancementof the company’s RIA biologics portfolio. RIA’s focus is to develop biologicsas potentially new and exciting treatments for asthma, COPD, idiopathicpulmonary fibrosis, systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, andother related diseases.

Bing has 20 years of experience in the leading biotechnology andpharmaceutical companies. Bing previously led the project team leaders’group for immunology, central nervous system, virology, and metabolism forGenentech research and early development.

Prior to Genentech, he served as Vice President of Research, Acting Headof Clinical, and Corporate Officer for Tanox, and held roles of increasingresponsibilities at Aventis, and Amgen.

Bing received his doctorate in microbiology and immunology from theUniversity of Iowa and did his post-doctoral research at Immunex. Bing hasauthored more than 50 peer reviewed publications and holds over 20 patentsand patent applications.

Elisabeth Björk M.D PhDVice President, Head CVMD GMed

& Mölndal Site Lead

Elisabeth is the VP CVMD GMed – the Head of late phase Cardiovascularand Metabolic development unit within AZ. She is leading the developmentactivities across the AZ late phase cardiovascular (mainly Brilinta, Crestorand Epanova), diabetes (mainly Onglyza, Forxiga, Byetta, Bydureon andcombinations) and CKD (roxadustat and tenapenaror in development)portfolio.

Prior to taking on this role in June 2012, Elisabeth was Global Product VP fordapagliflozin (approved as Forxiga in Europe and many other countries,including Australia, and as Farxiga in the US), and led the development ofthis first-in-class drug in partnership with Bristol Myers Squibb. She has alsobeen involved in the delivery of key late phase CVMD and GI projects likeCrestor, Nexium, Onglyza, Brilinta and others. She led the team thatdelivered several CV outcomes studies for Crestor (CORONA, JUPITER,AURORA).

Elisabeth has a passion for patients and science, with a special focus on CVoutcomes trials, as well as for developing people and teams and inspire themto achievements they did not think were possible. Elisabeth herself is on aconstant learning curve and enjoys doing things she has never done before.

Elisabeth is an endocrinologist by training and an associate professor ofmedicine at Uppsala University, and was Head of the Diabetes andEndocrinology Unit at the University Hospital, Uppsala, where she spent 15years in clinical practice and diabetes research, before joining AZ in 2002.

Susan Galbraith Head of Innovative Medicines Oncology iMed

Susan Galbraith trained as a Clinical Oncologist in the United Kingdom. Shestudied Medicine at Manchester and Cambridge Universities. She wasadmitted to Membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 1992, andthen trained in Clinical Oncology in London. She gained Fellowship of theRoyal College of Radiologists in 1997. She then completed a PhD at theUniversity of London involving translational work on a vascular-targetingagent.

Susan joined the Clinical Discovery Oncology group at Bristol-Myers Squibbin 2001. Susan was closely involved in the in-licensing of ipilimumab fromMedarex, elotuzumab from PDL, the acquisitions of Adnexus and Medarexand research collaborations with Exelixis. She held increasing levels ofresponsibility becoming VP for Oncology and Immunology EarlyDevelopment, and then latterly taking on responsibility for the ClinicalBiomarker team.

Susan joined AZ in September 2010, as Head of the Oncology iMedresponsible for Oncology Discovery and Early Development to Proof ofConcept

Mohammed M. Dar, M.D. Vice President, Oncology Clinical Development

Dr. Dar is the Head of Clinical Development at MedImmune for the OncologyTA. In this role, he is accountable for overseeing the development andexecution of all studies involving MedImmune’s clinical stage assets foroncology.

Dr. Dar joined MedImmune in January of 2013 in his current role.

Prior to joining MedImmune, Dr. Dar spent nearly 10 years atGlaxoSmithKline in roles of increasing responsibility focused on early clinicaldevelopment in oncology. During this time, Dr. Dar led the early clinicaldevelopment of numerous small molecule kinase inhibitors and largemolecules. This included 10 First Time in Human studies, multiple Phase 2Proof-of-Concepts studies and a variety of clinical pharmacology studies. Hewas also involved in the successful NDA submission and approval of Votrientfor renal cell carcinoma.

Dr. Dar received his Bachelors in Chemistry from the University of NorthCarolina at Chapel Hill and M.D. from Duke University School of Medicine.He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Duke University and wenton to complete a Fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the NationalInstitutes of Health.

Rachel Humphrey, M.D.Head of Immuno-oncology GMed, AZ

Rachel Humphrey, MD, currently heads the late stage Immuno-Oncologydepartment at AZ and is the former Executive VP and Chief Medical Officerfor Mirati Therapeutics in San Diego. She may be best known for her work atBMS where she led the clinical development of the CTLA-4 antagonistmonoclonal antibody Yervoy, the first immunotherapy to demonstratesurvival in patients with metastatic melanoma, including 10-year survival in asubset of patients. As well as supervising a range of alliance and in-licensing projects and new drug filings at BMS, she has also worked in arange of senior clinical development and strategy roles at BayerPharmaceuticals, supervising the development of Nexavar, among otheranti-cancer agents.

Previously, Rachel was a Staff Physician Scientist at the National CancerInstitute where she completed her Clinical Oncology Fellowship. BoardCertified in Internal Medicine with a residency at John Hopkins Hospital, shewas educated at Harvard and the Case Western Reserve University (CWRU)Medical School in Cleveland. She has authored more than 20 publications,and an extensive number of abstracts.

Outside of work, Rachel has produced, directed and performed in communitytheatre productions and is the lead singer of The Checkpoints, a blues bandmade up of leaders in Immuno-Oncology which routinely plays concerts atASCO and other clinical cancer congresses.

Briggs Morrison Executive Vice President, Global Medicines Development

& Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Briggs Morrison leads our global late stage development organisation forboth small molecules and biologics and is a member of the AstraZenecaSenior Executive Team. He joined AstraZeneca in 2012 from Pfizer, wherehe was Head, Medical Excellence, overseeing Development, Medical Affairs,Safety and Regulatory Affairs for Pfizer's human health businesses.

Briggs has a track record of successfully developing novel medicines in rolesat both Pfizer and Merck. He is the author of many original scientificpublications in oncology, in other areas of medicine, and in the conduct ofclinical trials.

Briggs received a B.S. (Biology) degree from Georgetown University and anM.D. degree from the University of Connecticut, followed by an internshipand residency in Internal Medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital, afellowship in Medical Oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and apost-doctoral research fellowship in Genetics at Harvard Medical School.

Mene PangalosExecutive Vice President, Innovative Medicines

Mene Pangalos, Ph.D. is Executive Vice President of AstraZeneca’s InnovativeMedicines and Early Development Biotech Unit. A member of the company’s SeniorExecutive team, Mene has overall responsibility for the company’s small moleculediscovery research and early development activities.

As one of AstraZeneca’s leading scientists Mene has published more than 120 peer-reviewed articles in scientific journals and has served as an editor of books andjournals in neuroscience. Mene completed his undergraduate degree in Biochemistryat Imperial College of Science and Technology and earned a PhD in Neurochemistryfrom the Institute of Neurology, both at the University of London. He is a VisitingProfessor of Neuroscience at King’s College London.

In the UK, Mene sits on the Medical Research Council (MRC), the council for theNational Centre for Universities and Business, the Prime Minister’s ResearchChampion Group for Dementia and is part of the Ministerial Industry Strategy Group.He is also a Fellow of the Society for Biology, an Associate of the Royal College ofScience and holds memberships with the American Society of Neuroscience and theBritish Pharmacology Society.

Throughout his career Mene has been recognised for driving forward scientificinnovation. At Wyeth his group was recognised by R&D Directions magazine ashaving the Best Central Nervous System Pipeline, while in 2008 Mene was awardedan Innovation in Industry award by the New York Academy of Sciences for hisoutstanding contribution to neuroscience research and drug discovery.

Since joining AstraZeneca in 2010, Mene has been instrumental in transforming thecompany’s commitment to science. He has led the transformation of R&Dproductivity through the development and implementation of the “5R” framework(recently published in Nature Reviews Drug Discovery); driven greater collaborationwith academic, NGO and peer organisations; pioneered programmes to promotemore open innovation and fostered a science driven culture that rewards truth-seeking behaviours.

Mene is also overseeing the creation of AstraZeneca’s new £330 million researchcentre in Cambridge - a state of the art of facility designed to stimulate collaborativescientific innovation and which will play an important role in the future success of theUK life science industry.

Bahija JallalExecutive Vice President, MedImmune

Dr. Bahija Jallal is Executive Vice President of AstraZeneca and head ofMedImmune, a global biologics research and development organization with locationsin Gaithersburg, California and Cambridge, UK. She is a member of the seniorexecutive team at AstraZeneca reporting to the CEO. Dr. Jallal joined MedImmune inMarch 2006.

Dr. Jallal is passionate about leading and shaping MedImmune’s rich pipeline ofdrugs targeting cancer, infections, respiratory and inflammatory diseases, cardio-vascular and metabolic diseases and pain to ultimately develop new medicines forpatients.

Dr. Jallal is a member of the Board of Directors of the University of Maryland HealthSciences Research Park Corporation, a non-profit organization that managesbiomedical research development at the BioPark. She was recently appointed to theBoard of Trustees of The Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Jallal has authored over 70 peer-reviewed publications and has over 15 patents.She is a member of the American Association of Cancer Research, the AmericanAssociation of Science and the Pharmacogenomics Working Group. She serves as amember of the Board of Directors for the Association of Women in Science and anadvisory member of the Healthcare Business Women’s Association. She was namedone of FierceBiotech’s “Women in Biotech” and a “Women Who Mean Business” fromthe Washington Business Journal. In 2013, Dr. Jallal earned the Grace Award fromthe Cancer Research Institute.

Prior to joining MedImmune, Dr. Jallal worked with Chiron Corporation where sheserved as vice president, drug assessment and development, and successfullyestablished the company’s translational medicine group. Prior to Chiron Corporation,she worked at Sugen, Inc. where she held positions of increasing responsibilityleading to senior director, research.

Dr. Jallal received a master’s degree in biology from the Universite de Paris VII inFrance, and her doctorate in physiology from the University of Pierre & Marie Curie inParis. She conducted her postdoctoral research at the Max-Planck Institute ofBiochemistry in Martinsried, Germany.

Marc Dunoyer Executive Director, Chief Financial Officer

Marc joined AstraZeneca in June 2013 as Executive Vice-President, GlobalPortfolio & Product Strategy before being appointed as an Executive Directorand Chief Financial Officer in November 2013. In this role he is responsiblefor Finance, Corporate Strategy and Investor Relations. Marc is alsoresponsible for AstraZeneca's business in Japan.

A French national with a background in finance and accounting, MarcDunoyer began his career in the pharmaceutical industry at Roussel Uclaf inParis in the 1970s before becoming President, Japan and then President,Asia Pacific. After returning to France for a period as Managing Director,Global Pharmaceuticals Division, in the 1990s, Marc was appointedPresident & CEO, Asia Pacific & Japan for Hoechst Marion Roussel in 1995.In 2000, he joined Glaxo Wellcome − just ahead of the merger that createdGlaxoSmithKline − as Regional President, Japan and subsequently RegionalPresident, Asia Pacific & Japan. His most recent role before joiningAstraZeneca was Global Head of Rare Diseases and (concurrently)Chairman, GSK Japan. Marc has an MBA from the Hautes ÉtudesCommerciales and a Bachelor of Law degree from Paris University. Hequalified as a Junior Certified Public Accountant in France.

James Ward-LilleyVice President Respiratory, Inflammation

& Autoimmunity, GPPS

In April 2013, James Ward-Lilley was appointed Vice President Respiratory,Inflammation and Autoimmunity (RIA) Therapy Area, Global Product and PortfolioStrategy (GPPS). In his role, James leads a cross functional-team drivingdevelopment and execution of the global therapy area strategy for the company.Through his leadership, his team is successfully delivering growth from the on-marketportfolio, readying commercialization of pipeline products and carrying out strategicpartnerships that complement AstraZeneca’s pursuit of industry leadership in RIA.

Prior to his current role, James served as Vice President of Investor Relations for thecompany, successfully leading AZ’s interactions with the company’s investors in aperiod of significant challenge and change, including the transition of chairman andCEO.

Ward-Lilley has worked in the pharmaceutical industry since 1987, where he beganin a sales role for Stuart Pharmaceuticals, a subsidiary of ICI. Progressing through aseries of management, marketing and strategy positions with ZenecaPharmaceuticals, he ultimately served as Director of Integration in UK during themerger of Astra Pharmaceuticals and Zeneca in 1999. From 2001 to 2002 he was theCommercial Director of AstraZeneca’s International Sales & Marketing Organisationafter which he was named Marketing Company President of AstraZeneca Belgium &Luxembourg from 2002 to 2005. In 2005, James was appointed Marketing CompanyPresident of AstraZeneca China & Hong Kong. In May 2008, James becameRegional Vice President for the Central Eastern Europe Middle East & Africa(CEEMEA) region where he was responsible for managing sales and marketing in 70countries, with sales of >$2bn and more than 4,400 dedicated employees in 53countries.

Fouzia Laghrissi Thode, M.D.Vice President, Therapy Area, Cardiovascular & Metabolism

Fouzia Laghrissi-Thode, MD has been appointed as Therapy Area Vice President,Cardiovascular and Metabolic Disease (CVMD), GPPS in September 2013. Sheworked close to 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry, with demonstrated successin a wide range of areas including clinical development, strategic and globalmarketing, business development & licensing, and product strategy.

In her most recent role as Head of Global Product Strategy for Cardio Metabolismand Anaemia at Roche, Fouzia has been at the centre of very large programs incardiovascular and diabetes. She led the Franchise Leadership Team responsiblefor Bonviva, NeoRecormon, Mircera and the overall cardiometabolismportfolio. Through her previous business development and licensing roles, she has aproven track record for working in collaborations, strategic partnerships and jointventures. She also served as a chair of the Joint Commercial Committee withGlaxoSmithKline for Bonviva and the Joint Development Committee of the cholesterylester transfer protein (CETP) inhibitor program with Japan Tobacco.

Fouzia has worked at Roche, Novartis and Sandoz across a broad range of therapyareas including Central Nervous System (CNS) and Genito-Urinary, with a hallmarkof her success being the ability to bridge science with patient needs and commercialobjectives. She is serving since 2007 as a Board member of the HealthcareBusiness Women Association HBA Europe and was recognized by HBA in 2012 forher work in developing and promoting women leadership in healthcare.

Fouzia holds a Doctorate in Medicine (MD) and a Certificate in PharmaceuticalMedicine. She is Board Certified in Psychiatry and has since 1992 a facultyappointment as Adjunct Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh in theUS.

Tom Keith RoachVice President, Brilinta

Tom joined AstraZeneca in 2003 as Strategy and BD Director of the AsiaPacregion based in Singapore. From 2006 to 2008 he was VP Specialty Carefor China based in Shanghai and from 2008 to 2010 Marketing CompanyPresident for AstraZeneca Korea based in Seoul.

In 2010 Tom moved back to Brussels as AVP Eastern Europe to leadAstrazeneca’s business in Turkey, Central & Eastern Europe, Baltics,Balkans and CIS.He then moved to his current role in May 2013 to lead the turnaround of theBrilinta Franchise as part of the GPPS leadership team based in Cambridge.

Prior to AZ Tom worked in consulting and venture capital from 1994-2001.He served as a Lieutenant in the British Army in the Arctic Circle from 1990-1991 and has a BA and MA in Economics from Jesus College Cambridge.Tom is married to Vicky and has three children, Mack (8), Lyla (7) and Annie(2).

Mondher Mahjoubi M.D. Senior Vice President, Oncology, GPPS

Mondher Mahjoubi, MD joined AstraZeneca in November 2013, to lead the Oncologytherapy area within GPPS and is a member of the GPPS Leadership Team, and isbased in Gaithersburg.

Oncology is a core therapy area of focus for us and in addition to our long history withestablished brands such as Faslodex, Zoladex, Arimidex, Casodex, Iressa andCaprelsa, we have more recently gained momentum in growing our innovativeportfolio of immune mediated therapies and those targeting DNA damage and repair.

Mondher will be focused on progressing the acceleration of key products includingolaparib, AZD9291, MEDI4736 and selumetinib, but also identifying potentialbiologically synergistic combinations for small and large molecules in order toachieve our vision of building a world class Oncology franchise.

He brings a wealth of experience in the field of oncology to AstraZeneca having heldsenior positions in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry for over 22 years.Most recently he was the SVP global product strategy in Oncology at Genentech,based in San Francisco, where he was responsible for providing strategic businessdirection from research through to development, commercialization and medicalexcellence, led the development of disease area strategy for various tumour types /indications and the life-cycle management of the late stage oncology portfolio. Priorto that he was the global head of medical affairs-oncology at Roche, based in Baselwhere he contributed to build up GMA capabilities and lead the development andimplementation of key strategic medical affairs trials in oncology.

Mondher has also held various senior global and affiliate-based positions inmarketing and medical affairs for pharmaceutical companies including MaynePharma, Sanofi-Aventis, and Rhone Poulenc Rorer based in London, New Jerseyand Paris respectively.

He holds a Doctorate in Medicine (MD) and a Certification in Medical Oncology andClinical Research and Methology, and trained as a medical oncologist and in generalsurgery and internal medicine. He is also a member of the American Society ofClinical Oncology and European Society of Medical Oncology.

Mondher is married with two daughters, enjoys sports and painting in his spare timeand speaks four languages.

Charles (Chuck) BramlagePresident, CEO of Pearl Therapeutics,

Respiratory GMed Head of AstraZeneca

Mr. Bramlage is currently chief executive officer of Pearl Therapeutics. Hepreviously was president of pharmaceutical products at Covidien plc. Earlier,Chuck served as president of European operations at ValeantPharmaceuticals International and president and chief executive officer ofBattellePharma, Inc., a specialty pharmaceutical company developinginhaled products. In addition, he was formerly the vice president ofrespiratory global commercial development and vice president of U.S.respiratory and cardiovascular marketing for GlaxoSmithKline, where he ledthe team responsible for the global launch of Seretide®/Advair® and the U.S.launch of Flovent®.

His earlier career involved various positions at GSK and Merck in productmanagement, sales management, sales, and sales training. He and histeams have launched over 40 brands in 14 therapeutic areas.

Mr. Bramlage holds an MBA from the University of Dayton and a BSAdministrative Science in Marketing from The Ohio State University.

Maarten KraanHead of Innovative Medicines

Respiratory & Inflammation iMed

Dr Maarten Kraan MD PhD, joined AstraZeneca in 2010 where he build theRespiratory & Inflammation iMed based in Mölndal, Sweden.

After an initial career as physiotherapist he completed Medical School inLeiden The Netherlands in 1991, where he also completed his training as aninternist/rheumatologist in 1998 and his PhD programme on synovial tissueanalysis in 2000. 1998 he moved to the University of Amsterdam as anAssociate Professor, focusing on translational medicine. In this period hewas lead investigator in numerous clinical trials in rheumatoid and psoriaticarthritis.

In 2003, he joined Schering Plough in Kenilworth, NJ, to build a translationalmedicine unit in the area of inflammation. He was also heavily involved in thedevelopment of both small molecule and large molecule programs in thesedisease areas. In 2008, Maarten joined Bristol-Myers Squibb in Princeton,NJ, to head the Immunoscience group, supporting the commercialization ofproducts such as abatacept and belatacept. In 2009, he became the globalhead of the inflammation translational medicine group at Roche in Nutley,NJ, which focuses on COPD, asthma and autoimmune diseases with anopportunistic approach to other inflammatory diseases.

Antoine Yver MD MScHead of Oncology

GMed & GMD China Lead

Dr. Antoine Yver leads our Oncology Global Medicines Developmentorganisation for both small molecules and biologics – other than immuno-oncology, as well as the GMD organisation for China. He joined AstraZenecain 2009 after 19 years in the thick of oncology global drug development, inFrance, the UK and since 1998 in the USA, working for Schering-Plough/Merck, Johnson & Johnson, Aventis and its predecessor Rhône-Poulenc Rorer.

Antoine has a track record of successfully leading the global clinicaldevelopment of novel small and large molecules oncology medicines, suchas Granocyte®, Sylatron®, Yondelis®, Caprelsa®, as well as successfullydelivering major line extensions for Taxotere® and Doxil® and contributingto significant in-licensing business development deals. In recent years,Antoine led the acceleration of the AZ MedI late stage development oncologypipelines, including in particular olaparib, selumetinib, cediranib, Iressa® andAZD9291, as well as facilitating the transition of PDL1 Medi4736 to late stagedevelopment prior to the creation of the Immuno-Oncology GMed.

Antoine, a paediatrician oncologist by training and practice, received his MScand MD degrees from University of Paris, France and held a full timeacademic appointment as Chef de Clinique Assistant des Hôpitaux in Parisprior to joining industry in 1990.

Peter Emtage, Vice President

Peter Emtage is the VP of Immune Mediated Therapy in Oncology InnovativeMedicines Unit (iMed) at MedImmune, the biologics arm of AstraZeneca.Prior to joining Medimmune, Peter held senior positions at Femta, Nventa,Biomira, and Nuvelo. Peter is an immunologist by training and has focusedduring the past 15 years on developing drugs to modulate the immuneresponse in humans.
