The members of the Pacific Brass Band come from Monterey, San Benito, Santa Clara and Santa Cruz Counties in California. Membership varies somewhat, but generally stands at about 30-35 musicians. Katherine Lavin | Saturday April 4th | 11:15a.m. – 12:00p.m. Katherine Lavin is an 11-year-old singer/songwriter from Pacific Grove, CA. In addition to her dynamic performances on guitar/vocals, she also plays the ukulele, drums, some piano, and bass. Her passion for singing began when she was 2 years old. She started taking guitar lessons with David Conley in December of 2017, and immediately found that playing the guitar and writing original songs was her true passion and forte. She loves performing at local open mic nights around the Monterey Peninsula and covers a wide variety of styles and genres, including her list of original songs, which is ever growing. She also enjoys popping in occasionally as a guest performer at the Sardine Factory on Cannery Row. Born in Cuernavaca MX he move to the Monterey peninsula in 1985 at the age of 5 and attended Robert H. Down elementary school. At the age of 15 he moved to L.A and returned to Carmel to raise his family. He works part time at a local italian restaurant il vecchio and DJ’s on the weekends. Petty, The Stones, Sublime, among others allow Johnny Tsunami and the Shoulder Hoppers to play a mix of alternative rock renditions, classic rock along with originals that have hints of the countryside intertwined. The Groove SoCal | Sunday, April 5th | 3:00p.m.-4p.m. The Groove features lead singing drummer Janna Brunner, lead singing bassist Phil Salvail and guitarist, backing vocalist Mark Sepulveda. The band became known for playing covers from “Al Green to Green Day” including deep classic rock tracks to current songs that currently make up their repertoire. AND, The Groove also

has released a CD of their own material titled “Rise and Shine.” The Groove can fill an entire night with music as well as showcasing as an opener for a national act. Based in Southern California, The Groove has played more than 250 shows since it’s inception in 2011. The Groove has had the pleasure of playing the OC Fair in 2017 & 2018 as well as playing club dates from San Francisco to South Orange County and out to Riverside County. Guitars Not Guns | Sunday, April 5th | 11:00a.m. – 12:00p.m. The Guitars Not Guns Band rehearses at the Marina Teen Center every Saturday. They play a fun mix of traditional and popular songs on acoustic guitars. The students range in age from 6-17 and come from all over Monterey County. Guitars Not Guns is a non-profit organization that fund raises to provide free instruments and instruction to the students, who earn their guitars to keep through participation in the program. All instructors are volunteer. The Monterey County Chapter has classes all over the peninsula and has distributed more than 1500 guitars in the last seven years. Grumbling Ginger | Sunday, April 5th | 12:45a.m. – 1:30p.m. The press has described Grumbling Ginger’s music as “indie folk-rock with a Celtic twist” and “acoustic rock with driving rhythms”. You can hear it for yourself on the Goodies Stage on Sunday, when Grumbling Ginger bring their original music to the Good Old Days Celebration. A Grumbling Ginger concert brings to mind the atmosphere of a British folk club, with songs, storytelling, humour and an array of

Razzvio’s all new brand of interactive electric string pop will make you rethink the electric violin and is a perfect complement to any outdoor event, college, winery, corporate party, or family restaurant. Singer/violinist Razz is a songwriter and classically trained musician. She performs with a custom 6-string electric violin called a ‘Viper Violin’ which allows her to sing and play at the same time and encompasses the range of a violin, viola, and cello. Razz has toured throughout the United States with her intimate, self-sustained, and volume-controlled setup; delighting listeners in concert halls and street corners since 2013. Born in Cuernavaca MX he move to the Monterey peninsula in 1985 at the age of 5 and attended Robert H. Down elementary school. At the age of 15 he moved to L.A and returned to Carmel to raise his family. He works part time at a local Italian restaurant il vecchio and DJ’s on the weekends.
