Biography

Deepak Rasgotra is a Principal and is responsible for hedge fund and investment management

in Asia at LGT Capital Partners (Asia-Pacific) Limited.

Mr Rasgotra joined the firm in 2008 upon the acquisition of KGR Capital, an Asian fund

of hedge funds business based out of Hong Kong and London. Mr Rasgotra joined KGR

Capital in early 2003, and he was the Head of Research and a member of the Investment

Committee. Prior to joining KGR Capital, Mr Rasgotra was a Vice President with the Capital

Markets group at JPMorgan in Hong Kong from 2000 to 2002. Prior to this, Mr Rasgotra

worked for Jardine Fleming/Robert Fleming group in the corporate finance group in Hong

Kong and Mumbai from 1996 to 1999, and with the capital markets group in London from

1994 to 1995.

Mr Rasgotra received his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Delhi and

a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and

Political Science.
