Berkeley, CA (May 7, 2012) – Producing renewable energy isn't uncharted territory

for RCM International, LLC. Since 1982, the company has led or participated in the

development of over 100 clean energy projects. Currently, RCM is managing the

engineering and installation of 9 new anaerobic digesters in the US and Latin

America.

Growth and concentration of the livestock, alcohol & food processing create

opportunities for the proper disposal of large quantities of bio solids generated.

Pollutants from unmanaged livestock wastes can degrade the environment, and

methane emitted from decomposing bio solids may contribute to global climate

change. A modern, efficient management system not only provides pollution

prevention but also can convert a bio waste problem into a new profit center.

Economic evaluations and case studies of operating systems indicate that the

anaerobic digestion (AD) of bio solids is a commercially available bioconversion

technology with considerable potential for providing profitable co-products, including

a cost-effective renewable fuel for production operations and resale.

Anaerobic digestion of biomass offers two important benefits of environmentally safe

waste management and disposal, as well as the generation of clean electric power. The

growing use of digestion technology as a method to dispose of bio solids has greatly

reduced its environmental and economic impacts. Anaerobic digestion technology

affords greater water quality benefits than standard slurry storage due to lower

pollution potential. It also provides additional benefits in terms of meeting the targets

under the Kyoto Protocol and other environmental legislations.

RCM International, LLC continues to prove that anaerobic digestion plants not only

decrease GHGs emission but also reduce dependence on fossil fuels for energy

requirements. The anaerobic process has several advantages over other methods of

waste treatment. Most significantly, it is able to accommodate relatively high rates of

organic loading. RCM International, LLC’s key differentiators are our proprietary tools

to improve your ROI, reduce your costs, improve your cost management and

potentially create new revenue opportunities. We look forward to working with you

in the future.
