Cell wall composition is not peptidoglycan but
pseudopeptidoglycan (due to the difference insugar component)
Methanogens- anaerobic, produce methane from H2and CO2
Halophiles- require high salt concentration
Thremoacidophiles- grow in hot (80-105C), acidicenvironment like hot springs, geysers, submarinevolcanoes; sulfate as source of energy.
