Graduates are poised to enter a fast-paced career in UX User Experience design. As technology becomes more robust, the creative control available in the still and motion fields is expanding. Countless opportunities exist to bring one’s personal/ professional vision to fruition. VISUAL COMMUNICATIONS BIO Angela Boembeke holds a MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University and a BA from Anderson University in Graphic Design and Business. She mentors beginning and advanced graphic design, illustration, business & marketing courses culminating with the Visual Communications’ Portfolio capstone course. Boembeke joined Ivy Tech Community College in 1996 and serves as regional Program Chair. She actively involves students in the local chapter of the American Advertising Federation with an opportunity to compete nationally in the AAF ADDY awards competition. BIO Craig M. Sheaks received his B.F.A. from Indiana University. In 2003 he began instructing at Ivy Tech Community College. Through his efforts in developing the curriculum and technology available to students in the visual fields of both photography and video, Ivy Tech is able to provide students with the quality tools they need to enter these fast-paced and progressive industries. He engages students, both in and out of the classroom, in community learning through exposure to area commercial and non- profit businesses. Craig continually strives to provide the greatest learning experiences possible to students at Ivy Tech.
