With over 30 years' experience in corporate America, J. Kirk Davis has directed created makeovers and new identities for a "Who's Who" client list of industry leaders and brands, including: Hallmark; Wild Turkey; Jose Cuervo; Elizabeth Arden; Estee Lauder; Ocean Spray; Hanes/Hanes Her Way; Barbie; Hot Wheels; Intel; and Polar Express. In 1994, he received a Clio nomination for Creative Direction on the highly successful launch of the Café Godiva product line for Godiva Chocolatier. In 1998, he served as the ad hoc Creative Director for Smart Toy Labs, a co-venture of Mattel and Intel and the talk of New York Toy Fair the following year. In 2005, Mr Davis was retained by Nestlé USA Confections and Snacks Division as an Innovation Advocate and Creative Consultant. In this capacity, he brings consumer insights to life by spearheading strategic rapid development of new emotion-driven product concepts. His concepts have been successfully sold in to key accounts such as Target some of which were conceived and commercialized for retail availability in less than one year. In 2006, his partnership expanded to include Nestlé USA Beverages Strategic Innovation Unit initiatives where he spearheaded the Jamba Juice RTD brand/packaging identity leading to its successful launch in 2008. In 2008, TDWC [Disney] retained Mr. Davis as a design director in strategic brand regeneration. Also in 2008, InVaco LLC, a new brand management company licensing and creating products with meaning and celebrity endorsement, contracted him as its Project Leader and Creative Director. Mr. Davis was responsible for mapping the Celebrity Associations “Brand Experience” as well as the integration of all design initiatives from web site to packaging and brand identity. Mr. Davis is available as the creative catalyst driving: -- Brainstorming, Invention Sessions and Focused Groups -- Name Generation, New Product Development and Brand Revitalization -- Mnemonic Design Development -- Brand Identity and Package Design Identity -- Positioning Copy Development. Mr. Davis received the BFA degree from the University of Notre Dame and the Master of Science degree from the Pratt Institute Graduate Program in Design. His artistic talents have been cited by The Graphis Press “Packaging 2”; Women’s Wear Daily; Art Direction Magazine; and Graphic Design USA. He was a charter member of the Steuben Design Forum in New York City and is a frequent guest speaker on a variety of creative marketing issues. Among his guiding principles: "Everything big begins with a conversation. Those assembling the conversation are the ones who shape our experiences. One conversation turns into another and another.
