Question 2 Please clarify the disposal or reuse of hot water coming out of Fermenters and Condensers.

Answer Will be used in the Bio-methanation plant

Question 3 Consistency of the contents of the prefermenter such as % of solids, viscosity, sp.gr. and working pressure of prefermenter.

Answer

Hydrogeniser Input TS =15 -20 % , VS =60-80% Methaniser Input TS =8 – 12 % , VS =40-55%

Question 4 Final RPM of the agitator.

Answer With Variable Speed Drive

Question 5 For control valve, flow glass & ball valve you have specified 3” sizes. We feel the size is very big?

Answer Amended and details are provided in the revised tender document.

Question 6

Fermentation Tanks 1, 2 & 3

Working pressure inside the Fermentation Vessel.

Consistency of the contents of Fermenters such as % of solids, viscosity, sp.gr.

MOC of outer jacket of fermenter – Mild Steel or SS 304.

Final RPM of the Agitator.

Control valve, flow glass, ball valve specified as 3”. Please clarify?

For all the fermentation vessel you have provided agitator systems with motor

and reduction gear unit. We suggest instead of agitator system, pumps for

circulating wort (fermenting wash). As agitator system will be costlier than

circulating pump. - Please clarify.

Method of transferring fermented wash to the distillation kettle is not

mentioned. – Please clarify this point.

Answer

1-2 kg/cm2
