Especially in December 2008, she used approx. three billion VND for assisting the poor, the women in difficult and shorthanded circum-stances,… In addition, when the market price slumped, and the materials was inconsum-able,…, a series of farming households wanted to sell the marterials in hurry for payment of bank loan. In 2008, she supported 200 houses for the poor workers. It is respectable as she has never treated the workers by “master and servant” relationship but always regarded them as her partners. When being of contact with us, the worker, Nguyen Thi Ngan who is from Dong Thap, confided “I used to work in some fishery facto-ries, but finally I resigned my job because of various reasons. Since entering Bianfishco, I have been very satisfied because here I can work in a comfortable environment and be treatedtreated very familiar”. Mr. Le Thanh Loi, a worker from Tam Binh (Vinh Long), also used to scurry with his job in many different plants, until entering Bianfishco he decided to have a long-term strong attachment to it and also got married to a worker who is working in the same department. Mr. Luu Quoc Tuan, Vice-Director General of production engineering – Department 2, said “Besides proper regimens, Bianfishco is also the suitable place for devel-oping creation, professional skill,…, and as the best working environment that attracted and made him ignore many others and decide to work here”.Her life guideline is “giving more than taking”. Her thinking and acting make many people emotional because there is no any domestic businesses except her to invest for building the large-scale “fish massage” area currently.When arriving at “the canteen” for the company’s workers, we were surprised before the sets of good wooden sofa decorated luxuriously. The canteen was clean, airy and even equipped the television so that the workers relaxed,…It can be said that such canteen is the best one in most local industrial zones currently. Besides ensuring thoughtful eating and drinking, she also pay attention to improvingimproving the workers’ life. Steady developmentTTo develop stable in the fishery, Pangasius hypophthal-mus – Pangasius bocourti farming, processing and export, she has initiatively built the “fresh” material area with the scale of hundreds of hectare in Tan An Thanh island, Binh Tan district (Vinh Long province) and Cho Moi island (An Giang province). The two islands are located in the middle of vast Hau river, favoured by the nature,nature, airy attached to plentiful and unpolluted water source,…as the best conditions for developing “fresh” fish farming model. Then, she has applied farming pro-cess in accordance with SQF 1000 and GAP criteria with 100% the fishes ensured to be free from antibiotic. This was the project that its infrastructure completed the soonest among 50 projects in Can Tho and taxed fully as provided by the State,…, which were complimented by the leadership of Can Tho City.As a person who is active, greedy for work, and likes to be challeged, Ms. Hien has tried the strength of hers in the new field of “Pangasius hypophthalmus – Pangasius bocourti process-ing and export”. To explain this, Ms. Hien told that she has traded in various careers for 23 years, which has helped her learn useful experiences in business. “Proper trading attached to products that meet quality standards and bring the interest to the society” are her business norms. She said “In 1992, when still trading in timber processing in Soc Trang, I won the pack-age of making the furniture serving education branch. The contracted timber type was group 04, a medium category. I had lived for many years in Soc Trang, so I understood thoroughly difficulties of the habitants and the education branch. If the furniture wasn’t made solidly, they would be damaged rapidly and our children would be at a disadvantage. Thinking about this, I decided to contribute my own money to the pur-chase of better timber type, group three, for making the furniture. On delivery date, both the education branch and the parents were surprised, and everybody told that Ms. Hien was “free-handed”. Thus, Ministry of Education and Training knew this and then immediately gave me many projects of making the furniture, amongamong them there were UNICEF organization’s projects for supporting poor localities. The Cen-tral Departments also came to Soc Trang to order, so I received the great number of orders”.In the end of 2003, the leadership of Can Tho City advocated to appeal to investment and development of a new metropolitan area named South of Can Tho. Ms. Hien’s company was one of the first businesses that participated in carry-ing out. Her project was located in ineffective agricultural area, however, its compensation and clearanceclearance had to face many difficulties. In the first instance, many habitants opposed and rejected traveling, and many told that they had lived there for years and didn’t want to move to others. Understanding the residents’ situation, she came to each household in order to encour-age and present the guideline of urbanization performance for social and economic develop-ment objective.
