I have been instrumental in establishing the Customer Service capabilities in India for Aon Hewitt. Have also managed other varied processes as well, like Ongoing client processing, Transaction Accuracy audits, Industrial Engineering Group etc. Setting up the voice operations meant not only ensuring the technology was in place, but setting up the framework for knowledge transfer and contextual training since the domain is new. In my current role, I manage the India operations for the East Business Unit and continue leading the Customer Service operations across business units. Since the past year I have been leading a transformational initiative called "Control Your Destiny" for my team and the results have been outstanding. The teams are more engaged and the sense of ownership has increased significantly. This year the continuation of this initiative is called "Own your destiny". The crux of the program has been to create an inclusive work environment and "ask" rather than "tell". Senior Manager at Wipro Spectramind March 2001 - October 2003 (2 years 8 months) I was one of the earliest managers for the technical helpdesk of a leading global PC manufacturer at Wipro BPO. After being part of operations for a year and a half I moved into the transition team. I was actively involved in transition and implementation of multiple processes from the US and UK, ranging from customer service for a large credit card company to an internal technical helpdesk for a leading US consulting organization.
