Proactively notify customers of any delays regarding export of their cargo. Reports customer complaints escalate shipping
problems to management and participate in problem resolution.
In some locations, the Sr. Export Agent may be required to complete assigned w arehouse and inventory tasks.
Provide support in ensuring compliance w ith all export shipments w ithin the branch – implement regulatory compliance
procedures as established by the regional compliance team ; monitor Export Agents’ shipment activities to ensure full
compliance.
Provide training to Export Agents on up to date know ledge of State, Treasury and Commerce Department regulations as
they relate to export shipments.
Handle special shipments involving perishables, dangerous goods, State / Treasury / Commerce department regulated
shipments, and/or special accounts.
Ensure f iles are organized, complete, and closed in a timely manner
Provide assistance and guidance to Export Agents in daily w ork interactions – to identify, organize and coordinate
customer shipping requirements; to prepare documents accurately and eff iciently.
Assist Export Agents in creating solutions to simplify and expedite cargo f low
Review SOP’s w ith Export Agents, and provide training as needed.
Work is performed in an off ice environment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
