Stopping
If you must stop make sure there is no one behind you; don’t stop right in front of someone: domino effect
Dismounting
Dismount to cross major intersections: 160th, 156th, 152nd, 96th and 148th.
Crossing
When crossing an intersection do not follow the crowd; look for yourself. The light could change on you.
Leading
Let the adult in your pod lead the way.
White Poles
When you come to the white poles on the right of way, make sure you slow down and look both ways before crossing. For some of the white poles there are stop signs.
White Poles
152nd St.
When crossing 152nd make the cars have stopped before crossing. Sometimes they fly through even when the light is red for them.
